Project Update: Bulk Pin Shipment Arriving SOON, Holo Stickers Almost Done, Backing Cards and Sticker Sheets Complete: ADDRESS LOCK APRIL 15th!

Hello robot enjoyers,

The time for Spooky Circuit fulfillment is nearly upon us!

My pin manufacturing rep confirmed shipment of our bulk order five days ago, and according to the tracking it should be arriving this upcoming Friday the 10th. This is a touch slower than my initial projection, but should be well worth it. In addition to the extra time required to handle rainbow anodized plating, my rep said that their team paid careful attention to the fine details to avoid the B grade rates we experienced with the original Short Circuit! I appreciate this immensely; I'd always rather receive a product slower at a high quality and more relaxed pace on the part of my supplier.

Almost 58 pounds of Spooky Circuit pins, arriving in two boxes.

Once in hand, I will begin the pin grading and carding process in earnest. For any of you new to enamel pin collecting: this is where I carefully look over every pin to make sure they align with the standard quality expected, de-clutch them, stick them on their backing cards, re-clutch them, and organize them into rows of storage boxes to grab when packing your orders. :3 This is a bear of an undertaking, so while shipping will indeed begin in April, on the current timeline it's likely to extend into early May as well.

Almost all the remaining puzzle pieces have arrived. The backing cards are in, as are the new sticker sheets.

Shiny, shiny holographic foil overlaminate backing cards.

Very pleased with the foil overprint this go around. The circuit traces retained even sharper and more consistent detail than those I ordered for the original Short Circuit!

Lovely sticker sheets feat. my cluttered desk and a pin by fellow Pintober artist DoomBloomArt!

The vinyl sticker sheets from my Canadian production partner came in the other day as well, and I'm so excited to put little robotic paw prints on things.

Printing in progress~

The selective holographic stickers are coming from another small business printer, in Poland this time around - closer to me, so they should arrive fairly quickly! - and are almost ready as well. That supplier sent me a video of the printing progress, so pardon the compressed screenshot presentation, but they're definitely looking great.

Lastly, I've ordered additional packing supplies from a local business, which should be reaching me on Tuesday. I'll be using up the remainder of my shiny drawstring bags first and thereafter packaging the pins in recycled paper baggies for increased sustainability. As with last time, the packing filler material I use will be on its second or third life - I hoard whatever I receive in this regard and reuse it. So if a shipment from me arrives with any form of bubble wrap or other plastic-based cushioning, rest assured that it was not acquired specifically for that purpose and please do push it forward for as long as it's still intact if you need to ship something yourself!

I'll be initiating address lockdown on Monday the 13th, which means you have until Wednesday the 15th to adjust your shipping details. If you miss this deadline for any reason and need assistance correcting this, feel free to reach out to me via [email protected] at any time.

Additionally, 6 of you have not answered your survey and 5 of you still have errored or failed card payments. If this is you, I'll be emailing you separately soon, but please get these squared away before the 15th as well. If you do not, I cannot fulfill your rewards.

Expect a few fun pictures once grading and carding is underway~
