Belated Thank You!
Sorry for the delayed Thank You. Last week was very busy with getting my seasonal vaccines, getting my maintenance infusion… all this leaving the house and venturing into the pollen filled hellscape of Ohio. But hey, now I have energy again!
A special thank you to fellow creators who supported this project: Moe Lane of Flying Koala Publishers, Jaleesa of J. S. Living, The Whumpy Printing Press, and Allyson Lindt.
Sadly, TalnoArt4 didn’t succeed with their project. But as I said in a previous update, I will honor those who backed - so send me a screenshot of the backer email or other verification and I will send the short story along.

I personally am a big fan of sexy trans snake man.
As for the poll, the majority voted for 72 hours. So following the wishes of the people poems for people who backed in the first 72 hours.
The next step is going to be the drafting - I’m hoping to have that done in November - because October is going to be interrupted by a week-long trip for my SIL’s wedding. Any recommendations for places to hang out in Seattle for good vampire vibes to absorb while tapping away at the phone?
I am feeling working on Her Eyes first - hopefully I will have a snippet to share as proof of work next week!

We are funded!
Well actually we were funded some days ago, but it's been migraine weather here in Ohio and today is the first day I have enough brain cells to make an update. Well a coherent update.
Either way we are officially funded!
However, my collab partner isn't - https://www.backerkit.com/c/projects/talonart4/the-art-of-talonart4?ref=bk-social-project&utm_source=backerkit&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=bk-social-project
So drop by and share some love if you haven't. Even if they don't fund, I will offer the short story to those who still pledged.
Talking about migraines and specials, I realized I forgot I had a 48 hour special reward. Because of all the migraines. So that leads me with a question and an excuse to use the poll feature - should I extend the time for backers in the first week or only have backers within the first 48 hours even though I forgot to mention it anybody?

Great First Day!
We are fifty percent of the way there and I have yet to start my full publicity campaign!

Here is the first bit as a teaser:
Something buzzed overhead as she woke up. One of the big metal non-birds that now roamed the skies, growing louder at night as the village had grown quieter. She moved stiffly, rust gathering in her joints.
