Project Update: Shipping hold up identified
Hello and happy new year!
We finally have news about what has been holding up shipping for the rewards of this campaign:
The promo cards offered as part of pledges/add-ons for Dodo Dash, Kiwi Chow Down, and War for Chicken Island were not accounted for in the US warehouse.
15hrs ago they were located, counted, and prepared. This means that US orders will finally be shipping in the coming days.
Stock transfers of these promo cards to hubs in CA, UK, AU, and the EU are also being sent so those orders can ship in a couple of weeks.

You should receive tracking number from the different hubs, and now that we have clarity on what's been happening, we will also post a brief update once the non-US hubs receive the promo cards.
Additional context:
These promo cards were released at Gen Con 2025. The excess amount was returned to our logistics partner in the US, but since they were not returned in factory-sealed cartons, they were hard to locate and required manual intervention.
- Nov 3rd, before starting the Holiday market, I met with our logistics partner to give a heads-up about the Holiday Market that these promo cards would be needed.
- Dec 5th we met again with our partner to provide an updated of the fulfillment plan and amount of orders.
- Dec 10th, we shared the US shipping orders and mentioned the relevance of promo cards again.
- Dec 13th, I followed up via email to ask if the shipping orders have been uploaded.
- Dec 17th, due to peak shipping season, we saw the orders uploaded in their system.
- Sometime after the 24th and before the 31st I noticed something was wrong with orders not getting tracking numbers assigned.
- Jan 5th, we were able to finally meet again, after the long holiday break to inquire about status.
- Jan 12th, I met again to follow up when I heard they were being tallied and prepared for shipping.
We are at fault for the way these promo cards returned from Gen Con. We are responsible for our projects and I am not passing any blame to our logistics partner—they have been fantastic since we started our partnership.
Before 2026, we genuinely thought everything was in "Ready to Ship" status, but had we known that the promo cards would be a complication, we would not have included them in this campaign. Yesterday we were even considering refunding those to ship everything else.
The end-of-year rush, coupled with an increased workload at the start of the year, personal chaos at home , plus not knowing for sure what was the issue with shipping, combined to cause a lack of update (although work on backer lists, shipping orders, and meetings with our partner did not stop). This is no excuse, and you deserve way better.
I completely understand we have let you down, but I still hope you find fun and joy in our games and the extra gifts we are including. At the very least, to find a lot of added value for your rewards that you will receive and acquired for a very special discount during this event.
