Backers will pay shipping fees through the BackerKit pledge manager once the campaign ends. Shipping costs vary depending on location, and international backers may be responsible for customs, VAT, or import fees. We promise your treasures from the Age of Maya will arrive safely, whether near or far.
Physical rewards are expected to ship two - three months after the project has ended. Digital rewards, including maps, lore, and exclusive content from the world of Divine & Conquer, will be available sooner so you can start exploring the Age of Maya immediately.

The Age of Maya is a dark fantasy TTRPG setting where gods, hags, and forbidden love shape the fate of mortals. Players navigate morally gray choices, explore lost temples, and wield powerful magic in a world on the brink of chaos. It is also a homebrew world that has grown alongside our community, featuring custom gods, cosmology, countries, and diverse factions. The campaign setting has been playtested at several different tables, with players from many creeds, backgrounds, and corners of the world. Our main focus is to reflect real world diversity and let players see themselves in the story. This isn’t a typical medieval European fantasy, Age of Maya is a place where everyone belongs, and where no mortal is born evil. Free will, personal choice, and moral complexity are central to the module’s writing, and the world reflects the idea that culture and belief matter as much as any sword or spell.
Divine & Conquer started as a group of friends who started of just streaming TTRPG sessions together. We began by hosting panels at conventions, teaching players how to level up their games, share stories, and bring more depth to their campaigns. Over time, as our community grew, we expanded into hosting our own events, creating homebrew content, and producing modules like Echoes of the Void. Our mission is to craft inclusive, morally rich, and deeply playable worlds where players of all backgrounds can see themselves reflected in the story. We combine professional game design, immersive worldbuilding, and community driven development to deliver adventures, rules, and modules that are both fun and meaningful.

Pledges can be canceled before production begins through BackerKit. If the project is canceled, backers receive full refunds. Lost or damaged shipments will be replaced whenever possible; backers should contact support promptly.
We regularly stream Age of Maya playtests on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/divineandconquergames), with 5e compatible content. Links and schedules are shared through our social media and BackerKit updates. https://divineandconquergames.com/
While the Age of Maya is designed to be compatible with 5e games, the rules and modules are written as system agnostic as possible, allowing GMs to adapt them to other TTRPG systems.
The Adventure Module is designed for levels 3–17. It spans the four major regions (the Surface World, the Ocean Kingdoms, the Lands Below and the Wilds of Fey), giving players opportunities to explore diverse cultures, travel the world, and encounter a wide variety of people, monsters, and challenges. What happens when aberrations of old fear a creature thought to be killed by the gods?
BackerKit FAQ
BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.
If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.
Backers often receive special rewards for their support, such as:
- Exclusive products
- Bonus rewards for backing related projects
- Discount pricing
- Behind-the-scenes updates
- Creative input opportunities
Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.
- Select a pledge level with the reward(s) you would like to receive
- Select any add-ons
- Confirm your pledge!
- You are charged only if the campaign meets its funding goal.
- Charges happen when the campaign ends, not when you pledge.
The creator will send you a survey to:
- Ask you for more information about your rewards (selecting options, etc)
- Collect shipping information
- Offer additional items you may want to add to your pledge
- Collect shipping fees (if applicable)
The survey will be sent to the email address we have on file with your pledge. Additional payments are charged when you complete the survey.
Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.
You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.
Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
