Who We Are

"Some dice only mark your rolls. Others carry the duality of your soul."

We are Doloir - a Hong Kong-based collective of veteran creators and lifelong tabletop enthusiasts. For years, we searched for metal dice that were more than mere gaming gear - pieces that reflect the dual nature of every adventurer: the light of angelic mercy and the shadow of devilish resolve woven into every character choice.

Today, we proudly launch Divide & Grace, our fully original hollow brass dice collection themed around Angels and Devils. Every sculpted hollow frame features intertwined angel wings and devil horns, carved to capture the eternal balance between virtue and vice that defines every D&D, Pathfinder, and tabletop campaign. This is not mass-produced metalware; it is wearable, rollable art forged from solid brass, shaped by pure passion and precision.

Our Vision: Duality Cast in Hollow Brass

Every player walks a line between grace and darkness. Paladins struggle with rage, warlocks cling to faint glimmers of goodness, rogues balance self-preservation with loyalty to their party. This eternal duality of angel and devil became our core creative inspiration.

Our hollow openwork design reveals intricate dual motifs: feathered angel wings curve alongside twisted devil horns on every die face - a permanent tactile reminder that every critical hit, saving throw, and fumbled nat 1 is a choice between grace and shadow. Each die is precision-crafted from solid hollow brass with uniform wall thickness for fair, consistent rolls.

The Divide & Grace Collection: Five Finishes, Two Eternal Forces

All dice are crafted from solid hollow brass, hand-polished and treated with our custom non-toxic electroplated coatings. Each finish holds its own thematic identity tied to angels and devils.

Antiqued Silver Gilded - Virtue & Corruption

Picture a forgotten cathedral at twilight, where silver vessels on the altar have tarnished with age and the last light filters through cracked stained glass. The gold leaf remains, a stubborn reminder of what was once holy. This is the soul of Antiqued Silver Gilded.

A muted weathered silver base with rich gilded gold numbering, telling a story of faded celestial radiance slowly overtaken by shadow. This set is for the walkers of the gray path - fallen aasimar, oathbreaker paladins, and characters who carry both a broken promise and an unshakable hope.

Polished Silver Gilded - Pure Angelic Light

Imagine the first shaft of sunlight breaking through storm clouds after a battle, striking the armor of a paladin who has never wavered. The light is so pure it stings the eyes - but you cannot look away. That is the essence of Polished Silver Gilded.

Mirror-bright polished silver with vivid gold etched numerals, shining like uncorrupted celestial armor. Every angle catches the light as if the dice themselves were forged in heaven. This set is for the unyielding - clerics, aasimar, and holy paladins who stand on the side of light and refuse to fall.

Vintage Gilded Gold - Heaven Golden Realm

Step into a celestial throne room where every surface is draped in warm gold and the air hums with an ancient, peaceful melody. Shadows have no place here - only the eternal glow of grace.

A warm aged golden finish with deep recessed detailing that catches the light like gilded cathedral doors. This set is for the golden-hearted - bards of divine light, golden dragon sorcerers, and players who carry unyielding grace in their souls.

Aged Bronze - Devil Smoldering Hearth

Stand at the edge of an infernal forge where embers pulse in the dark and the heat warps the air around you. The bronze remembers the fire - the crackle of ancient flames, the rhythm of a hammer striking red-hot metal, the wild pulse of something that has never been tamed.

Deep burnt bronze with darkened crevices that catch shadows like smoldering hellfire. This set is for those who walk freely in the dark - tieflings, warlocks, fiendish rogues, and adventurers whose power comes from embracing the fire rather than fearing it.

Weathered Nickel - Neutral Shadow & Quiet Balance

Picture a misty moor at dusk, where the boundary between light and shadow blurs into endless gray. There is no battle here - only the quiet weight of balance, the stillness of a world that has made peace with both light and dark.

A cool muted gunmetal finish with subtle metallic undertones. Neither angel nor devil, heaven nor hell - it simply is. This set is for the untethered - rangers who walk alone, druids who answer to nature alone, rogues who follow their own code.

Why We Are on BackerKit

Crafting intricate hollow brass angel-devil dice demands meticulous handwork, premium raw materials, and finishing techniques that honor the craft. We have fully funded all prototype development, sculpting iterations, and finish testing on our own. Now we need your backing to scale small-batch production - so every backer receives the same quality as our workshop prototypes.

We are not a large corporate brand. We are gamers and craftspeople building this collection for our global tabletop community, with every design and production choice rooted in the care that only comes from makers who roll dice at their own tables.

Our Community Mission

Every set of Divide & Grace dice we craft helps us grow the initiatives we run alongside our creative work:

Hong Kong Youth Tabletop Creative Labs - We partner with local community art hubs to host free monthly RPG and design workshops for under-resourced young people. Our designers volunteer weekly to teach character storytelling, miniature sculpting, and dice design - giving young creators access to creative play spaces they could not otherwise afford.

When you back Divide & Grace, you join our ongoing community mission: empowering young creators through tabletop play, and proving that the stories we roll together can shape the world beyond the table.

Our Team

We are three friends who share a lifelong obsession with tabletop roleplay games and the art of making things by hand.

Mia - Lead Designer
Mia has been DMing since she was 16. She doodles creatures on napkins mid-session and turns them into dice. If a die does not make her smile, it does not make the cut.

Leo - Master Craftsman
Leo is a perfectionist with an eye for detail. He has been known to reject an entire batch because a shade of color was two percent off.

Sophia - Community Lead
Sophia is the heart of our community. She runs our impact programs and answers every backer message like it is the most important thing in her day.

We are three friends, not a brand. We love games, we love craft, and we believe something as small as a die can make someone's night better.

Thank You

To every gamer who has walked the line between angelic mercy and devilish resolve in their campaigns - thank you.

Divide & Grace is far more than a metal accessory collection. It is a reflection of every choice you make at the game table, a celebration of duality, and a tool for us to keep nurturing young creators within our global community.

When you roll these hollow brass dice, you carry more than fate in your hand. You carry the spirit of every choice yet unmade.

Roll with heart.
