Fulfillment Progress Overview
Audible audiobook codes for the New Secret Project, Isles of the Emberdark, will expire on October 10, 2025. We are unable to provide replacement codes or refunds for any Isles of the Emberdark code not redeemed before they expire.
All audiobook codes have been distributed previously to backers who pledged for the Audible version of this book. If you don’t see a code in your digital rewards then it was not included as a part of your pledge.
Campaign Support Deadline
All support related to the Words of Radiance Leatherbound Campaign (including questions surrounding Isles of the Emberdark fulfillment) will end on October 17, 2025.
If you think you are missing or damaged rewards you must contact Dragonsteel support before October 17th.

Our team has made an incredible effort to ship these items off both accurately and quickly, and they have done an absolutely fantastic job of it. Please give them a massive round of applause from wherever you may currently find yourself.

What a Journey!
Our goal was to be completed with this phase by the end of August and we did it! We are incredibly proud of this book and we hope you are all enjoying it as much as we have. We are so glad that we’ve been able to go on this journey with you and we hope you join us for the next campaign.
Now that we have finished the campaign orders, we are moving on to Dragonsteel store pre-orders next! If you didn’t get the book with the campaign, consider placing an order on the Dragonsteel Books online store starting August 25!

Fulfillment of the New Secret Project, Isles of the Emberdark, continues! We are currently at *bing* 51%! You can track fulfillment progress on Brandon’s site. Please do not submit a ticket asking when your pledge will ship until the tracker hits 100%. (This percentage will not include store pre-orders, which will be handled separately.)
We anticipate having all rewards sent to backers by the end of August.
Audiobook Reminders
The expiration date for all Isles of the Emberdark Audible codes is October 10, 2025 at 11:59PM EST (03:59AM UTC). Beginning October 11, 2025, these codes will no longer be redeemable and no new codes can be issued to replace unused ones.
Note: The Isles of the Emberdark audiobook was not automatically included in all tiers of the campaign. The $50 and $325 tier do NOT include the audiobook.
Once you receive your shipping notification email, it is too late to update your shipping address on the existing shipment.
If your package returns to us as a result of an incorrect address, you will be responsible for paying the reshipment fee to your new address.

New Secret Project Ebook and Audiobook Access
Now that your digital rewards are available, you'll be able to find them on your survey confirmation page. You can also head to your digital rewards page directly and get your Isles of the Emberdark ebook and audiobook files!
Click on the “Get Your Digital Rewards button, and you will be able to access your Isles of the Emberdark digital downloads. If you have any questions about digital reward delivery, you can check out our campaign FAQs.
Audible Codes Accessible July 10!
With our expedited timeline, Audible was unable to find a way for backers to gain access to the audiobook without making it available to the public. Dragonsteel doing the unexpected? Who would have guessed!
We worked with Audible to find a solution that would allow our backers to get access to their codes with the least delay. (For a peek behind the curtain, there was an option where access would begin in September.) Audible codes will be available for you to redeem very soon, but slightly later than your other digital rewards. Starting on July 10, eligible backers will be able to find their Isles of the Emberdark code on their backer digital rewards page.
New Secret Project premium hardcovers and physical rewards begin shipping July 1. Ebooks also begin distribution July 1. Audiobooks begin distribution when region specific codes are prepared.

Redemption Instructions
On July 1, 2025, you will receive an email from BackerKit to access your digital rewards. More instructions will be included, but in general you can expect the following:

You can also access all digital downloads once they become available by logging into your backer survey and selecting “Get Your Digital Downloads.” Ebook formats include EPUB, Kindle, Kobo, and PDF.
2 – How to redeem your Isle of the Emberdark audiobook:
Audible is working hard to get us the codes as soon as possible! Once the codes are prepared, those of you who backed the audiobook will receive a second email from BackerKit to notify you that additional digital rewards are available with further redemption instructions.
