Books have been ready for a while, and we've largely been waiting on our distributor. We have word now that the books should be going out to you by the end of the month.
We know you've been waiting on these, but they are finally coming. We thank you for your patience.
I was wondering what the estimation is for the physical book to arrive in the US as of right now? I got my digital back in October, but I am wondering about the timeline.
Thank you all for coming out and funding our first campaign here on Backerkit. We know that things are a little different here than on Kickstarter, so we just wanted to give this extra thank you to all of you!
So, normally, we could tell you exactly what's going to happen, but this time we're not so sure. Normally we would have gotten congrats emails from Kickstarter and stuff saying how much we've funded, and how much we can expect to be deposited, and when that will happen. But it's been a few hours since the campaign officially ended, and so far we haven't heard a peep from Backerkit.
So, we'll just say this. There will be a pledge manager. That pledge manager will be here on Backerkit, and we can expect that we're going to have that setup sometime before the end of this month. We plan on ordering books sometime in October, and hope and pray to have them out to you before the end of the year. We should get the digital books out to you sometime in October as well. The only thing that's going to slow us down as of right now is that it is convention season, and we are at 4 different conventions in September and October (including NYCC which is really a week-long experience for us), which eats up a bunch of our time that would normally be used in prepping this stuff.
Great job! We can't thank you enough for getting us to our goal! Now we have plenty of time to keep unlocking stretch goals. We are right on the cusp of that first stretch goal, and we want to get over it as soon as we can. Remember, the more stretch goals we unlock, the better this campaign gets!
