Project Update: Press Update on Terminator Graphic Novels - Sewing Process
We have another update from the factory floor on the production of the Terminator graphic novel collections. This time we are seeing the printed and folded sections going through the machine for the sewing of the individual signature sections. When a collection is printed it is done so in signatures of 32 pages. Those pages are then bound together and eventually all of the sections are gathered and bound into the spine of the book.
This video shows those printed and folded sections being sewn into signatures. A lot of this process is actually enclosed in the machine - but you can see the start and finish as they run through pretty clearly. Check it out here:

The next step in the process will be gathering of the sections for the binding. We should have videos of that process by next week. Please watch here for more updates coming soon as we progress through the process.
