I just recieved the deeply unfortunate news that our fulfillment team has shipped orders DDU (unpaid duties), not DDP (duties paid) as specified. So all international orders will behave differently than expected. It's well documented and understood by both parties that this was a mistake by the fulfillment team (a separate company), but I know that means little when you're the one receiving the package.
What's going to happen?
Some carriers might just deliver it to you, no problem, as we've seen already in a few countries. Others may require you to pay the VAT only. Some might even charge you painful additional processing fees. Every nation, carrier, and authority may handle it differently. Unfortuantely it will be impossible for me to reverse the mistake.
What can Electi do about it?
Obviously, I'm going to start the process of refunding VAT
I'm seeking recourse with the party responsible for the mistake
Keep open communication
Consider a different partner for the future
I understand this update might be disappointing, and I truly appreciate your trust. Surprise costs are always a tricky part of crowdfunding, and I want you to know I've often covered them myself to protect my backers. Unfortunately, this time, all we can do is apologize and issue a refund for the VAT we collected.
All miniatures are printed and shipping to the warehouse. The books are expected to arrive on January 13, 2026. We should be ready to start fulfilling orders in mid-January!

Hey Siri, why don't BackerKit comments ever hit my inbox? I'm not receiving notifications for comments or conversations on BackerKit, and your requests there are likely to be missed. The Contact Us form will notify me via email and track your ticket. I'll still check periodically, because I totally respect using comments for that, but this is the least effective way for me to see your concerns.
November Update | PDF and Digital Miniature Delivery
STL Miniatures and Core Rules PDF have been uploaded and sent to backers who completed the survey.
I've finished with what I think is a print-ready layout. My hope, though, is that you find something wrong with the PDF so I can go correct it before printing. If you do see something, come over to our Discord (link below) and drop us a correction, or if you like, you can email us directly at [email protected].
Miniatures have been pre-supported by the team at Death Ray Designs and uploaded to our MyMiniFactory account for digital fulfillment.
We use digital libraries like DriveThruRPG and MyMiniFactory so you don't have to download everything and manage all the data yourself (you are welcome to, though). It keeps the files up to date as we find little errors that can be managed on the PDF and provides an avenue for those just learning about the project to see us.
If your file hasn't arrived in your account already, make sure that you have filled out your survey and then contact me at [email protected] so I can check the order for you.
What about physical fulfilment?
Miniatures are wrapping in early December. They just finished printing this week, but we've got to gather and sort them for pre-shipment. I'm basically done with the layout, just waiting to see if anyone spots a really gnarly typo before I pull the trigger. Books and miniatures should wrap sometime in December. Once the books and miniatures arrive at the warehouse, we'll begin shipping. I'll send an update once those arrive.
