Its been about 30 days since our last update, so I wanted to make another and share where things stand with Hercules and the 12Labors and what to expect moving forward.
🔒 Locking Orders:
All orders will be locked on Tuesday, August 26th. If you haven’t completed your survey, or if you’d like to add any extras to your order, you’ll need to do so before that date.
💳 Charging Credit Cards:
We’ll be charging credit cards shortly after orders are locked, with charges planned for Friday, August 29th. If your card doesn’t go through the first time, BackerKit will automatically attempt it again. If you run into any issues, please reach out and we’ll help.
🏠 Locking Address:
Addresses will remain open until production is complete, likely in mid to late September. This means you’ll still have time to update your shipping information until then, if needed.
🛠️ Production Update:
At Gen Con, our manufacturer delivered updated samples, which we were able to approve on the spot. Production is now well underway and expected to finish in mid to late September.
For most international backers, your orders will likely arrive before those in the US, since we’re fulfilling directly from a fulfillment hub in China (no lengthy ocean freight required). UK & US backers, fulfillment will take a bit longer as games will travel via ocean freight to their final fulfillment hubs. Once freight arrangements are finalized, we’ll provide a clearer timeline to all backers.
New Game Announcement: (Not a Solo Game)
We’ve got something exciting on the horizon, on September 2nd, we’re launching Meerkat Kingdoms on Kickstarter, and we’d love to have your support. In this 2-4 player area control and “meerkat placement” game, you’ll take on the role of a mighty Meerkat Queen, competing to secure the most valuable territories in the vast Kalahari Desert.
