I'm hoping to launch this plush campaign mid to late August! I want to have my first series shipped out to backers before starting this one. Follow along to watch the designs I have planned come to life! I'm going to try and have all 12 prototypes finished before my campaign starts. I'll share their progress here :)

UPDATE: Cardinal and Rosy Moth Fox
Tina sent pics of cardinal fox and I have to say, I like him more than I thought I would! I'm not a fan of red, but wow. He's very striking. I DID change his wing colors. The top is all one solid color now. Tina tried the version with 3 different shades of red and they kind of clashed so I made the judgement call and I like the result :)
His colors are weird in this photo, see other photos for his true red color!
Next, Rosy maple fox is giving me trouble. I LOVE the new colors. Sooo much better than the pale pinks before. But for some reason the face looks like a bear to me now? Tina confirmed the artist used the same pattern as my other foxes, but the fabric elasticity could be different and affecting the shape. I think I want to try adding yellow cheeks to bring out the foxiness more. What do you guys think? Or should I try changing the fabric? I think it's mainly her muzzle not tapering at the end so perhaps just a different muzzle fabric? In comparison, this was her previous prototype with lighter colors. She looks foxy in this one. Tina also tried to find a yellow nose with no success. They were too small and this one was waaay too big and made her look even more like a bear!
SO, my preference is to keep the nose black and add yellow cheeks. Maybe change the muzzle fabric? This is a pic I edited to show what I want. OR let me know if you like a pink nose that probably clashes with the fur colors. It would be the same nose I used on violet budgie. It would be fuzzy and less realistic. With or without yellow cheeks
Thank you guys for your input! I really want these plush to look their best. It can be so hard getting a prototype just right sometimes! And of course the bulk produced ones will also differ slightly so it's really important for the prototypes to be close to perfect 🩷

Blackbird has been finalized, I would just change embroidery colors (the gray embroidery on the wings darker).
Honduran white bat is going through some edits! I want bigger ears and snout a little longer. The yellow nose is unfortunately as dark as Tina can find for the heart shape. She showed me him with a flocked yellow nose (like violet budgie in my previous campaign), but I prefer the heart shape even if the color is lighter.
Rosy Maple Moth! Almost all her colors are changing. Her pink body is much too light and the legs and ears aren't the shade I was going for. Her wing shapes are beautiful from the top. The bottom wing piece is not shaped or placed how I want though so that is being adjusted.

I am excited to see her updated! They also just sent me a ton of color options for peacock fox so I'm working on selecting the ones closest to my reference image. I still need to send them fennec fox as I imagine she'll need several edits before I'm happy with her! But I haven't finished solidifying the wings.
I am working hard to finish fulfilling my last plushie campaign before I launch this one as well as have ALL prototypes finalized before launch. My tentative launch date of August 15th may have to be pushed out, but we'll see! I love watching these plushies come to life and hope you do too!
ALSO, one last update. For those who like Fawn Fox, but do NOT like the embroidered spots, Tina will allow me to order some without spots! So on the surveys there will be an option for Fawn Fox with spots and Fawn Fox without spots :)
They also made this prototype to try and do fabric for the spots, but it's just not what I was going for at all, hah. They don't look much different and they are much too big. And they tried a different fur color, but I'm not sure if I like it better or not! Which body color do you like more? The original on the right? Or the new color on the left?
Last poll is up! I needed 1 of the 4 final designs chosen to be a mini design. Since no mini designs are in the top 2 of either poll I have made a separate poll. I chose the 2 most popular mini designs so votes aren't as spread out.
The final designs chosen that I am sending in for prototypes now are Peacock 2, Cardinal, and Red-winged Blackbird! Sorry Canada Goose people, I have to cap this campaign at 12 designs and I really really want one to be a mini one based on a small bird! Red winged and Canada goose were tied, but more people have vocalized interest in the blackbird at this time so that's who I'm going with, forgive me <3
I also think I've finalized the order designs will be unlocked! It may change, but this is what I have for now

I got my art tablet back!
I finished Rosy Maple Moth Fox and White Honduras Bat Fox's ref. I'll be sending them to Tina shortly! I went with a black nose instead of pink. I don't want the pinks to clash and I really like the realistic plastic nose. I wish my manu could source one in Pink! we even reached out to custom nose manufacturers, but the ones who could potentially do it have an MOQ of 10,000 pieces. The only other thing that might be a problem with this design is the yellow going around the neck. My Plush don't really have a neck, lol. So we'll see how it works and adjust as needed :) This will be the eye I'm using! The green one next to the eye I circled is Luna Moths eye. They are SO gorgeous and magical in the light
I'm super excited for this one! I really want this yellow plastic nose I found! I think it will be the right size and work, but we'll see. MOQ is 1,000 pieces, but I'll pay for that and let Tina keep the extra, lol. I originally wanted to try the nose upside down because the Honduras bat has a nose shaped like that! But it just looked wrong, haha. So right side up it is!
Also here's Bat Fox updated from Tina. The designer barely changed the mouth, BUT I kind of love it? I looked up fruit bats and they kind of have a silly mouth and face like that so I think I'll keep him as is, but I'll know better when I get him in person. I am worried about his side view, it looks like he has an overbite... I LOVE his new orange eyes though! And here's a close up of his eyes I chose. I want to use all these eyes, so pretty!
Peacock designs! I STRUGGLED. These were the best I came up with. This design would have 3 tails. Not sure how well it would work sewing them all on! But it's neat. She'll be in the polls! If she doesn't make it into the finals I would throw her in with my future Kitsune designs I want to do still :)
And another new bird design several people suggested who will be in the poll. And here are all the other bird designs suggested to bring back! Last call for any I may have missed! These will go in the poll along with the 2 peacock variations and woodpecker
And last, but not least, fennec fox mockup! This will also be a small 12" plush. I went with the Topaz-Spotted Blue butterfly (Azanus jesous) since they can be found in the same desert region of Africa. Plus purple and and sandy brown look SO good together. The underside of the wings will be mostly tan and brown patterned. I want fur in the ears, but not sure how well it will work so might change my mind later. The muzzle may be too small to include the dark stripe, but we shall see! The pattern is the same as my other fox plush, ears have obviously been enlarged and eyes are bigger proportionately too! The wings are roughly sketched and will be cleaned up, I just wanted to share the design now with everyone so it's all in one post!
A lot of people suggested dragon fox which I think would be such a cool idea! But I'm going to save it for a future campaign and take my time working on the concept art. I also did a cross fox and silver fox for fun. They will also be saved for a different campaign. I do want to do a monarch butterfly still! And a blue morpho at some point too. There are just too many amazing ideas ❤️
Oops, I also forgot! A small coyote pigeon will be in the polls too! Should I make it a pigeon fox? Or try and make it a small coyote pigeon, same colors, patterns, maybe ears a bit bigger?
