I hate this as a wolf. Too large to be white and get dirty. How are we supposed to clean these? they're not gonna be machine washable because you're putting beads all over the place, and even if you werent, machine washing plushies is a risk.
Unlike everyone else who tbh seems like they're just blowing smoke, the line is unsightly. Are you trying to make pin plushies or fox-bird-accurate plushies? How many snowy owls have half a neck seam irl?
Also majorly not a fan of the peach fuzz scraggly itch factory "bangs" tuft between his ears.

I would recommend hand washing if it ever got dirty! A tub full of soapy water would work just fine. Squeeze with a towel to soak up as much water after and let air dry. My plushies do not need to be accurate. They're foxes with bird inspired markings and colors. None of them are accurate, lol. There wouldn't be half a neck seam. I would trim the whole thing. That was just a visual to show what the line looks like there and removed :) Not sure what bangs you're talking about? Unless you're referring to his forehead marking which I will make a poll for later!

What exactly are you planning on doing to this plushie that it’d get “dirty” that it requires a trip through the washing machine? I don’t think these are meant to be children’s toys; they are what many people would call a “collectible” - designed to be lightly snuggled, perhaps kept on one’s bed. Not taken on trips to the beach, park, or a restaurant where they might get “dirty”. I love plushies, and I can tell you that, in my decades of experience, bead-weighted plushies ARE machine-washable. And everything short of, say, a cat horking onto the plushie itself would be surface-cleanable with a damp washcloth. Also, if you don’t like it, you could always (shocking option) not pledge for it/choose it. There will be other large-sized options to choose from. And if you want “fox-bird-accurate” plushies and don’t like these ones, go make your own campaign rather than being openly hostile towards the creator of this one. You’re not giving your “opinion”, you’re attacking.

i understand that you’re trying to help, but you’re being very hostile towards the creator. i recommend you adjust your tone ^^
@Lakota: If they're meant to be collectables then why are the wolves even part of it? why is everything not the same size? and why are they WEIGHTED? creator herself and multiple pledges during the preliminary "design ideas" phase said "oh id love to cuddle up with this one" when talking about the WEIGHTED XL WOLVES -- that's how it gets dirty. being 30 inches long, and NOT FITTING IN ANY CABINET FRONT FACING for display to keep them dustproofed: THAT'S HOW THEY GET DIRTY. From just existing in a home. If you cannot fit a "collectable" in a proper display case to protect it from the elements then YES it needs to be washed/maintained or you will eventually need to throw it away because it's deteriorated from exposure and this will come faster or slower depending on the climate you live in. Dusting plastics and metals is easy but what do you think catches that dust that flies away? The fabrics. Thats why you need to wash curtains. What do you do to your window curtains that they need to be washed *clutches pearls*? I live in my home. Like a normal person. And I wash them because it's part of home maintenance and keeping things clean. The same applies to a plush that's just laying out on a shelf somewhere, especially a white one. Go ahead, buy it, sit it on top of your bookshelf. And with your "i dont need to take care of it" attitude, the next time you think about it, it's gonna be grey and maybe even yellow and you're not gonna be able to wash that out. "Weighted" blankets and plushies are typically made "weighted" because they are comforting and comfortable to cuddle and/or sleep with for not just children but adults too. @ Fox Den: The first picture, at the top half of the forehead diamond, it looks like it's being partially obscured with a very thin layer of "bangs" (cant really think of a better word for it), the very bottom it's solid black and as you get towards the top it's got little white striation that thickens towards the top. it looks like the effect of loose synthetic hair/fur pulled down over the diamond. Is that not the case? What is making it look like that? Issue with dying? If that's so then I'd agree with ppl who are saying to use a different fabric, or to perhaps just get rid of the diamond all-together since the owl's face is starkly white. But I still think because this has SO MUCH WHITE it's be better for a smaller plush, not the larger wolf. @Lemon: I appreciate you, I do. But I am asking valid questions to help me determine which ones I want to buy, whether something's gonna fit in my collection cabinets, whether it's gonna be too heavy, too large, and if so, how frequent and intensive is the maintenance of the item going to be? Is it something that once soiled, it's essentially broken and time to throw it away? n that case, I may not feel that $100 is a worthwhile investment. If the creator or anyone else thinks answering basic questions about the product they are asking us to buy is rude or too difficult then they're in the wrong business.

Except your not just "asking questions to help me determine which to buy" and it's disingenuous to say so. There's a massive difference between "hey, how washable will these be, and what are your care suggestions ? Have you considered how easily these will get dirty?" And "I hate these" and making assumptions about how they won't be washable due to beans. Your response to other backers is also disingenuous. LakotaWolf didn't say you should never was the plush or that they would just put it on a shelf and never wash it, they stated they have not experienced a problem washing plush with beans, and a plush used for light home cuddling could be expected to be easily surface washable. In a previous post you mentioned stream of consciousness, not being rude, but a choice to not consider your words is a choice to be rude. And considering you've gotten this feedback from a few people now, I hope you take it as an invitation to reflect. From another backers perspective, your posts read so far like you're disappointed and upset your favorites haven't been voted and the campaign hasn't run as smoothly as you personally want, and that disappointment is coming out as frustration and anger toward the creator. So if that's your goal, by all means continue.
Now that I have the plush in hand I can totally see the peachy color behind the marking! I don't like it either. I made a poll to vote on either removing the marking or sewing it on. I would recommend not getting this plush if you are worried about keeping it clean. I am happy to answer any and all questions about my product, but I agree with others assessment. There are ways to be negative and not like something without being hostile. You have been condescending and derogatory since the very beginning. I have given a lot of grace, but consider this a formal warning. I have thick skin so can handle a lot of flack, but your comments are clearly also upsetting the community and I won't tolerate that.

If you are this upset, unpledge. You have been rude, attacked other people and will never be happy. I would suggest either unpledging, or keeping it to yourself. Your words won't change anything, being nasty won't change anything, so do everyone a favor and stop. Collectable, not collectable, doesnt matter, dont like it dont get it, stop making your miserable attitude everyone else's problem. "Not just blowing smoke like others" we are covering like adults, you should try it.
