Last year we launched a kickstarter campaign for a bunch of floppy semi-weighted kobold plushes. We ended up meeting our goal (as well as a few stretch goals!) and have since been tossing troublesome little guys at everyone!

Despite increased reports of shiny treasures being stolen and rock collections being eaten, folks seem to love their little floppy friends as much as we do! Since then, we've been on a mission to slowly increase our floppy variety so that there's a floppy friend to suit everyone's personality and vibe!
We wanted to start the expansion off with two new kobold colors that didn't quite make the last batch:
Shadow, the Darkbold!
Jam, the Purple 'bold!
as well as introduce the first addition to our new species line
Byz the Dragon!

For this campaign, we will be aiming to fund all 3 plushies in one go vs our previous kickstarter that was tiered. We understand this is a bit more of a steep goal, however after a lot of debate we felt it was the best way to go!
We have also moved this campaign from kickstarter to backerkit due to some issues and hiccups with shipping. We feel using backerkit for everything vs importing info streamlines things a lot better.
Please note some future dates may move forward or backward depending on manufacturing or shipping constraints but generally, here's what to expect based on our past campaigns
Late July - Floppy friends 2 campaign launch September 30- Campaign ends November- Surveys sent/payment processed/Production Begins December- production in progress January 2027- Production ends/ Plushes shipped from manufacturer February 2027- Plushies shipped to backers April 2027 - All anticipated rewards fulfilled
Because shipping is so finicky and has been a massive hurdle in the past, We have made the decision to charge shipping at the end of the campaign. This will not affect overall prices however it will affect how things will look as you will not be able to see calculated shipping on your pledge beforehand and will not be charged shipping until your surveys are filled out. While we know this sucks,especially for international folks, it's our best option currently and we hope you can understand.
Although shipping prices fluxuate a lot, and may be different by the end of production, here's what you can generally expect to pay for one floppy friend (based on our past shipping experiences)
International - $20-$30 USD Domestic (US based) - $7-$8 USD
(price tends to scale $5~ USD per international order and $2~ Domestic per additional floppy friend)
I'm shep! I'm an independent fulltime artist trying my best to support myself by doing the things I love. I started doing art as a career around 2016 and, despite the constant ups and downs, stresses and struggles, I genuinely love my job!
I started out doing small merch like stickers alongside my commissions at various local conventions, then started my first BIG project Happy Hoggies in 2022! Though it was a success, it taught me a lot about project management. I took these lessons to heart when we launched and successfully funded Floppy Friends last year. Life (and projects) are always going to give us something to improve on, so I hope that with the launch of Floppy friends 2, i can continue to build upon what I have learned and make an affordable, quality product that can (hopefully) make folks smile!
Though this current Crowdfunding project focuses mainly on more colors of Kobolds, I am hoping to expand things in the future for more species/collaborations!
