Celebrate your disability pride with these cute pins! Furodiversity is dedicated to providing the disabled community with colorful mascots and a biodiverse roster of animals to choose from. Wave one of mascots will be presented this round.

Furodiversity began as passion project when I discovered how to make merchandise through secondary manufacturers. Each mascot within this project is inspired by a given disability, and crafted into a mascot selected from a wide variety of different animals. While there is still the classic fox, we also highlight biodiversity across less-represented animals including numbats, dormice, jerboas, and polecats. Some are designed more with aesthetic appeal in mind (ex: autism’s mascot having a slinky weasel body to twist into the signature infinity sign), while others are based on overlapping traits within the disability spectrum. It’s just a reminder that even other animals experience some of the same conditions we humans do — and rain or shine, they’re here for the ride along with you.
Each of these lovely little guys I presented represents a different disability! Wave 1 represents predominantly neurodivergence.
Twist, Shout, Finnegan, Ned, Tremble, and Decibel will unlock in small pin format alongside soft enamel of Furo if we get fully funded, with each tier of unlocks permitting a new pin to rise to the surface!
Additional Enamel pins designs are subject to unlocking, but once a pin has been funded you may select them as part of your pledge rewards. So if, for example, you wanted Twist (ADHD) & Shout (Autism) on the double enamel trouble backing, you’d be able to get one of each provided both pins met their funding bracket. They do not all have to be the same mascot!
An example set of Furo, Twist, and Shout with the Double Enamel Trouble with add-on.
If you’re interested in mixing and matching (ex: ordering four enamel pins and two printed on), you can go to the add-ons section and add some from there!
Note: Image is used only to differentiate the types of pins. The final product will be the designs shown within the project.
Soft Enamel is the form which bevels inward; it has much more room for grooves in it and makes for a more stim-friendly pin. It’s also cheaper to make, and therefore will unlock sooner.
Hard Enamel is more preferred by collectors as it makes for a cleaner image with less dips in the process. It has a higher cost due to demand and the among of molding required to get it cast. Therefore these will be a set of stretch goals, with more added if we somehow manage to succeed this amount!
The first six mascots in all their tiny metal glory!
A mock-up of the brand name printing on the back.
Metal Pin Rewards: In order to begin testing how pins of these guys might look, I bought a set of shiny metal pins with the mascots printed on solid to start. Do note that these sets are tiny; the stopper on the back is to scale!
You’re able to add on as many of each variety as you like in the add-ons section of your pledge, so feel free to mix and match as desired!
With help, I am hoping to be able to develop this further into hard and soft enamel pins, with the funding goal unlocking all six in tiny printed pin format and the mascot in soft enamel. This guarantees that no matter what tier we get to, you can still grab your favorite little guy in your bag.
Note: Hard Enamel Version used to differentiate from soft. May look different than pictured.
Plus early backers (ordered in the first 48hrs of campaign) receive a free lanyard with their order!
So if you’re interested in this guy getting the enamel treatment, get hyped to back it up!
Shipping to the United States is $4, and will be sent in bubble mailers.
Due to tariffs, I will not be able to ship outside the U.S (unless you’re able to cover the tariff price in shipping). Please send a contact email to [email protected] if you are interested!
Furodiversity debuted to the public in 2024, where we were a guest panelist providing a crash course on disability rights. These panel slides were accompanied by the titular mascots and a complimentary sticker print for attendees.
The slides are also present here: https://www.tumblr.com/furodiversity/807361061229608960/adding-these-to-the-post-as-well-as-theyre
With my new storefront on ACGGoods, the journey continued. I have teamed up with fellow disabled artists to showcase disabled goodies from a wider spectrum of disabilities. I wanted to make sure before I tackled a larger project like a Crowdfunding campaign, I was able to work effectively with others to help make this project a reality. This collaboration has a wide variety of merchandise including keychains and pins, and more stim-friendly objects like squishy jellies. If you’re interested in some instant gratification, that collaboration is ongoing now!
I have also gotten the honor of vending at this year’s VRChat convention Furality, where I’ll be debuting some exclusive retro gaming-themed items. The vending hall will be to free to the public in May, so feel free to keep an eye out!

With multiple projects out of the way and the hang of tackling them covered, I decided to dust off the next step in mind: getting merchandise made directly and sent out to others. This leads us to the big send-off: I’m bringing Furodiversity to BackerKit!
Furodiversity is partnering with Sweet Treat Terrors to bring you some collab goodies! Back both projects, and you’ll receive a sticker from each of us! Excludes Tip Jars ($1 shoutout tier)
And be sure to check out our overarching campaign, Beasts & Botanicals! Backers of two or more projects will receive a digital Zine with pages from each creator on the wildlife that inspired their works.
Beasts & Botanicals
This project is participating in Beasts & Botanicals, a celebration of life in all its forms, from the world’s largest mammals to its microscopic algae. The group-collab brings together an all-star lineup of creators crowdfunding together from April 23 – May 14, 2026.
Back 2 or more campaigns during the event and get a free digital zine full of fun facts, art and puzzles. Featuring contributions from every campaign taking part in Beasts & Botanicals. (Excludes tip jar only pledges)
