Project Update: Enamel Pins Ordered! + BONUS

Happy pride, my fellow Furodivergents and allies! While I keep cracking on the survey manager, I wanted to let you know for those who ordered the enamel pin tiers, the orders have been placed. I have a total of 50 ‘namels set for production, and also a little surprise for you all…

The mascot’s hard enamel option has been self-unlocked. With a successful campaign at Furality and a BOGO from my manufacturer, I was able to grab a deal on Hard Enamels. So if you’d prefer to upgrade your enamel listing to hard enamels, I’ll have that option available to you all. I’ll also likely have overstock in my shops later on, so feel free to keep your peepers peeled!

Hoping that surveys will be out by next week so I can get the totals on the eco metal badges! Thank you so much for your patience with me in bringing this project alive!

Project Update: Furality Upcoming; Progress The Following Week

A picture taken at Furality Online outside of my convention booth.

Hello there again! Wanted to update folks that I’ll be “out of office,” so to speak, for the coming week, as I’m vending at Furality’s virtual convention and attending a family event out of town. But progress will resume again right after!

Projected Rundown:

I’ll begin by sending the enamel pin designs out to the manufacturer. Since those require a minimum of 50 pins (bulk requirement) and that’s more than were placed, it’ll cut down time waiting while I get the exact numbers of each design on the metal pins.

Surveys are still coming out! I’ve been learning the ropes of the crowdfunding backend and run into some hurdles, but I am conquering those with some help. When you receive these, be sure to fill them out so I can get your mailing addresses & desired products. The metal pins have six different designs, and I want to make sure that I send the right babies your way!

Since we have a small number of backers, everyone will receive a lanyard complimentary with their packages! They’ll be made with an easy-open clasp for optimum accessibility. Here’s the design down below for those who want a snapshot before they’re sent out.

And I look forward to being able to provide more updates to you all soon!

Project Update: Closing Statements: Surveys, Preorder Shop, Etc

Thank you guys so much for your help and such a wonderful campaign! I appreciate each and every one of you for believing in me, and helping to fund this thing through its first stages. Expect to see the surveys go out within the next couple weeks, and with luck, we’ll be able to raise at least one stretch goal or two with the preorder shop. Stay tuned for more!

Project Update: We’re Funded!

I am delighted to announce that we are fully funded for the initial goals of the campaign! This means that all small pins and our first mascot in soft enamel will be on their way to production once this campaign ends. Truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you so much. As my first campaign, I am delighted to have reached a little over the first threshhold, and with luck be on our way to at least one stretch goal.

If you have not backed yet, there is still time! With Furality Ultra on its way to opening up its vending halls on the 15th, I’ll be sure to leave up some late pledge options for those who want to grab things last minute. So stay tuned as the last days run their final course, and I’ll be sure to keep everyone in the loop.

Project Update: Clarifications! Pin Types & Mascot Representatives

It’s a timeless dilemma: whether it’s picking your starter Pokémon or figuring out which style of pin fits your collectors’ lifestyle, choices are the name of the game. For newer collectors, it can be harder to determine the difference between different styles of pins — and for newcomers to disability pride, not all the flags will be within immediate home territory. Don’t worry; I’ve got your back!

Soft Enamel is the form which bevels inward; it has much more room for grooves in it and makes for a more stim-friendly pin. It’s also cheaper to make, and therefore will unlock sooner.

Hard Enamel is more preferred by collectors as it makes for a cleaner image with less dips in the process. It has a higher cost due to demand and the among of molding required to get it cast. Therefore these will be a set of stretch goals, with more added if we somehow manage to succeed this amount!

Metal Pin Rewards: In order to begin testing how pins of these guys might look, I bought a set of shiny metal pins with the mascots printed on solid to start. Do note that these sets are tiny; the stopper on the back is to scale!

Folks also mentioned that they were struggling to differentiate which mascot belonged as a representative of each disability, so those have been attached in the poll below for reference. Remember that each mascot will unlock in relation to the funds raised, but if you’re itching for a specific little guy, we also have all the mascots in stock in other merchandise over on https://acggoods.com/store/furodiversity .

Hope this helps clarify!
