Hello and happy Monday, folks!

I closed surveys and collected payments at the end of March and into last week for those who had issues with cards being declined. About 92% of the initial orders have been successfully processed and are good to go!

I've been in touch with all of the production folks needed at this time: Naturally Nerdy for the trays, Long Dog Workshop for the 3D printed inclusions that will be going into the dice, and with my workshop in Hong Kong who will be producing the dice and facilitating the ordering of all the other goodies (tins, stickers, pins, etc). My hope is that our production timeline will be much shorter than my original estimate of next spring, but I don't want to count any owlbears before they hatch so I will keep you posted as we go along!

I will be ordering a limited number of extra sets of each style (based on popularity) so that I have some to stock in my shop once the campaign ends. So if you missed out on a set you want, there may be a chance to grab one in the shop later!

Seat at the Table backers
I will be getting in touch with Seat at the Table backers in the next month or so to set up online sessions. I am currently waiting on Jes The Human to have the adventure finished so we have something to run, so we will get that going soon!

Hello lovely backers!

I hope that March is treating you well so far. It is nearly feeling like spring here in Ontario, Canada so I can't complain too much!

This is a heads up that about 45 folks still haven't completed their pledge manager surveys, and the deadline is in 10 days (March 30). On March 30, pledge manager will lock down so I can send totals to the workshop for production, and cards will be charged for any add-ons and new orders placed after the campaign beginning on March 31.

I have been busy behind the scenes here getting 3D printing sorted for the beautiful glowing inclusions, as well as finalizing designs for the sticker sheets, tins, bags, and other little goodies. Jes The Human has also begun work on the campaign one-shot, and it's going to be super fun!

I'll soon start reaching out to folks who backed for A Seat at the Table to begin planning those rad online one-shot sessions, so stay tuned for that (and don't forget that if you didn't back for that reward but want to add it on, the option is available in pledge manager now!)

I've just sent out the surveys for backers as well as getting the preorder store all set up. I've decided to offer the same tiers for preorder that were available during the campaign, with a couple of changes and exceptions:

I am planning to keep the pledge manager survey/pre-order store open for about a month. This should allow lots of time for folks to complete their surveys and get their add-ons sorted, and give me a good idea of how many of each design to produce. I'll give a one-week update when it gets to be survey closing time.

Happy Tuesday, pals!

I wanted to let you know that I've been hard at work getting the campaign rewards survey, pledge manager, and preorder store ready to go! I'm told by the good folks at Backerkit that I should wait til Feb 22 to release these to y'all so that anyone whose pledge didn't go through initially has a chance to update payment details, etc.

So, look out for an email on Thursday of this week with a link to complete your survey, confirm your design choices and additional items from the campaign, add-on any extras you might want, and get it all locked in so I can begin production. The sooner I receive the majority of the surveys, the sooner I can get my order in with the production team and get the ball rolling!  

Since so many people requested it, I've added Purryhedrals (both soft and sharp edge sets, in Black and Galaxy kitties) as add-on items within the preorder store and pledge manager, as well as Keyfish Crit sharp edged sets. 

Important: I will NOT be collecting shipping right now, and you will need to return to pledge manager closer to fulfilment time to make that payment. Don't worry, you'll get an email to let you know when we get to that stage!

Good morning!
We did it, friends! We unlocked skulls and we are going to get this thing done!

Thank you so much for your pledge, for sharing the campaign, and for believing in this cool thing I came up with!

I'm going to be getting our pledge manager/preorder store set up in the next few days and it will go live once I get the go-ahead from Backerkit. Stay tuned as you'll get an email with a notification when it's time to make your selections.

Somebody asked the other day about getting both the "seat at the table" and the handmade dice tray together, and that WILL be possible in the pledge manager phase. If you backed for either of those tiers, you will have the opportunity to add the other to your order during pledge manager. Both rewards will still be very limited, so if you're hoping to snag one, don't delay! 

Both Keyfish Crit (sharp edge) and Purryhedrals (soft and sharp edge) sets will be available as add-ons during the pledge manager/preorder phase too, so don't miss your chance to save on shipping and add these to your bundle!

Backerkit will begin processing pledge payments over the next few days and will continue over the next couple of weeks. A reminder that the pledge amounts did not include shipping, and this will be collected later on in the process when it's closer to fulfilment time and I have a better idea of what the final postage cost will be.

The good news with a smaller campaign than my previous ones is that production and fulfilment should likely take less time because there are fewer things to make and pack. I'll keep you all updated here with updates. Production will be able to begin soon after I receive the campaign funds, toward the end of February.

Hello and welcome to the last day of the campaign! We have unlocked SKULLS! HUZZAH!

This means there are 4 designs to choose from (unless things go REALLY wild in the last few hours left) which is fantastic.

I've posted a poll for naming the Skulls, and also announced the names of the Mushrooms, Jellyfish, and Fireballs in an earlier post which you can find below!

We have just under 5 hours remaining, so spread the word and let's get a backer train going! If we hit $35,000CAD every single physical backer will get a FREE UV-LED flashlight to light up their Hidden Glow dice! (Say that 5 times fast)

Hello lovely people!

We are coming in to the home stretch on this campaign, so let's do a bit of a round-up!

We have been hovering around $29,500CAD for a couple of weeks now, and it would be super fantastic to hit that $30k stretch goal to unlock Skulls!

I've also added an additional stretch goal to try and boost our last few days: if we hit $35,000 every physical backer will receive a FREE UV-LED flashlight! These little guys are bright AF and rechargeable with an included USB cable!

Thanks so much for your continued support and interest! 

There are a couple of new and exciting changes in the Hidden Glow UV-activated Dice Backerkit campaign I thought you might want to hear about!

I've added 2 new pledge options: a pair of D20s and a pair of D6s. These are perfect for advantage pairs in D20-based systems or for rolling in PbtA or other D6 systems. They're discounted from buying a single die, and also come with ALL unlocked stretch goals we might hit along the way!

I've reduced the price of the single D20 and single D6 pledge levels from $22 to $20CAD. I think this better reflects the value of these pledge levels and hopefully helps a few more folks with affordability, too! The D20 and D6 add-ons will also been adjusted in price as soon as I figure out how to make that happen.

ALSO! I've added a WHOLE BUNCH of photos to the campaign, so you can get a better idea of what we're crowdfunding! Come take a peek at the updated campaign page and see what's new!

The sticker designs are done, friends, and they're beautiful!
I asked Zack to design stickers that would have some transparent details incorporated so that the holographic details could shine through, and he really delivered!

Here is a mockup of the sticker sheet that all physical backers will be receiving! The stickers will be kiss-cut for easy removal from the backing paper and printed on high-quality holographic vinyl.

The team that I work with for dice production also has a contact for stickers so I'll be asking for samples from them (I used them for my Purryhedrals stickers which are great), and if they can't make the holographic thing work I will be using my regular supplier here in North America to get these made. They're going to be rad!

I'm excited to share that Jes The Human has agreed to write the one-shot adventure for this campaign! It is going to a system-agnostic adventure so you can run it in any system you like! It's going to be a very fun cyberpunk murder-mystery type of adventure and honestly I can't wait to play it (or maybe run it?) myself!


We are creeping closer to hitting our $30K stretch goal and unlocking the next design, but with that in mind I wanted to ask for an update from y'all! We had lots of votes pre-campaign about the order of unlocking designs, but now that we're in it I want to make sure we are unlocking the right designs for the folks who are supporting the campaign! With that in mind, please fill out the poll below to vote on which set you'd like unlocked next!
