Hello Nocturnal Adventurers,

We’re back with another glimpse behind the scenes of Witches' Path, and we’re happy to say that the project is moving forward steadily.

Both the writing and the production of the artwork for the book are now at an advanced stage, and the shape of the sourcebook is becoming clearer with every chapter we complete.

At the moment, we are working on the chapter dedicated to spells, items, and artifacts.

For the spells in particular, we’re putting a great deal of effort into creating an immersive flavour around these peculiar and often unsettling forms of magic. We don’t want them to simply be a collection of new spells: we want to explore their lore, the ways in which characters might come into contact with them, how they can be learned, and what it truly means to wield this kind of power.

We’re also working on an alternative, darker, and more lore-friendly way to cast them, one that will make use of Soul Points and tie their mechanics more closely to some of Nightfell’s core themes.

Once this chapter is completed, our attention will turn toward Asvizert and its frozen lands, opening another important part of the world that we’re very excited to explore.

There’s good news on some of the other elements of the project as well: the soundtrack unlocked as a stretch goal is now complete, and so are all the new playable options that will be featured in Witches' Path.

To give you something to look at while the book continues to take shape, we’re also sharing a few illustrations from the project. Among them, you’ll find glimpses of some of the new playable options that will eventually find their way into your games.
