Game Progress + Dice Update + Special Surprise!
Hello everyone!
I have some awesome news: the dice have been produced, and I have received a small shipment while the rest goes to our distributor's warehouse for futurefulfilment . And holy shit, they look GOOD.
I have some awesome news: the dice have been produced, and I have received a small shipment while the rest goes to our distributor's warehouse for futurefulfilment . And holy shit, they look GOOD.
We didn't want to say anything until we got them fully done, but now I can safely say that our dice stretch goal is made!
Now, on to the game. v0.8 will be dropping on itch, DTRPG, and of course here sometime in late August or September. The reason is that we are wanting to wait for some more art to come in before we push it out the digital door. There are some big quality of life improvements, balances, and clarifications throughout, as well as the fact that some of our Deus backers are getting their custom gods made up and put into the game!
So far, the game is ~80% complete. If you want a quick breakdown, below is the per-chapter readiness:
Chapter 1 - 100%, being reviewed by our editor.
Chapter 2 - 99%, being reviewed by our editor, waiting for one art piece.
Chapter 3 - 100%, being reviewed by our editor.
Chapter 4 - 100%, being reviewed by our editor.
Chapter 5 - 100%.
Chapter 6 - 80%, waiting for Deus Backer art.
Chapter 7 - 60%, waiting for Realm and Monster art.
Chapter 8 - 40%, writing is continuing.
Appendix 1 - 70%, waiting for Deus Backer art.
Appendix 2 (Usurped Edition) - 40%, writing Usurped Edition-only rules.
As well, we do have one more surprise for everyone...long story short, WE ARE PRINTING NARRATOR SCREENS. Our printer gave us an amazing deal, and so we are able to print screens for everyone, with Mister69M doing the huge 33 x 8.5 artpiece on the front! While we didn't reach the stretch goal, we are planning to offer it as an add-on for a significantly discounted price for everyone who either pre-orders or has already backed the game.

Hello friends, Romans, and countrymen (and women),

- A revamp of tons of little systems for clarity
- Plenty of grammar and editing changes
- Combat has been streamlined and clarified
- Overhaul of the Nemesis System
- Overhaul of Anointments for simplicity and balance
- New Gods added
- New and updated art!
And for the Poster Poll...with over 50% of the vote, the cover of Young Gods will be selected as the poster of choice! Don't worry if you didn't pre-back the project or back within the first 48 hours, we will be printing a surplus, and you can purchase the poster as an add-on when the pledge manager goes live.

Back Spread Poll Closed + POSTER POLL
Hello everyone!
Our last poll was a CLOSE one, wither both Izha AND Sif winning in the end with an even 33 votes! Well, jeez, alright, I'll talk to Mister69M about getting BOTH of them into that image. He's pretty damn good, so I think it's entirely doable!
And NOW we have another poll, this one for the early backer special incentive poster! We want everyone to pitch in and choose what they want to see on their wall, displayed in glorious 36 x 24 inch size. We have a TON of updates for it: rules adjustments and calrification, new or updated art, and of course we are beginning to populate with Deus-tier backer deities! It will be ready in about 1-2 weeks, after which it will be released in an update in the Backers Only section AND on itch.io and DTRPG.

ART POLL + Minor Update
Hello everyone!
Progress is steady with the book, and we are preparing for a v0.7 release in the coming months! We are collecting a lot of art, and finally getting our professional editor to go through the book and make sure the grammar and rules are coherent and good! Honestly, recently we have undergone a LOT of updates and changes for quality of life for the game, and we are very excited to show you all our most recent work! It will be here later in June!
However, I am informing you all today of a new poll in which YOU can help contribute to the art in the book! We are wanting to get a big double-page spread at the very back of the book, and we would like you to all cast your vote on what Goddess + Monster you would like to see in said piece!

CAMPAIGN DONE!
What a ride everyone! $42,000 and 15 minutes in overtime, and Young Gods is funded at 210%!
We are so so so thankful for all of you, your patronage, and all of you believing in this game. This is a dream come true for us as our first major step into a first-party TTRPG system coming out under the HCG brand. Seriously, this is awesome, and we are humbled by your support.

So, next steps:
- We are finalizing some printer quotes, and are working diligently on the game. Backers can see the Backer Only section below to access v0.6 of the game AND a Google form for submitting any errors you find. Our professional editor has yet to pass through the game, so please excuse any obvious errors or typos.
- Our current mission is to finalize the content in Chapters 6, 7, and 8. Please excuse any major blank spaces you find, those parts are under construction!
- We need to get the rest of the art! Progress is pretty good, and we hope to get things feature complete by the end of summer.
- FOR ALL DEUS BACKERS: Please reach out to us via email OR on Discord (you can add me as hammercitygames) so we can organize your contributions to the project. If we don't hear from you in a week, we will send you an email!
- There will be some polls coming out for you all to participate in so that we can finalize the posters and some additional art features in the book, so keep an eye out for those!
- We are hoping to get dice, posters, and books printed by November of this year at the latest. We will keep everyone in the loop if there are any major logistics issues or changes.
- We are planning to open Pre-Orders/late pledges very soon, so keep an eye out for those if you didn't back the project during the campaign.
