Two reasons you may want an extra Cup/Throat 1) You may want to order a custom throat diameter larger than the standard option included with your Red mouthpiece. We can make any size between .150 and .180 in this system. 2) You will need the correct diameter if you are adding on an extra Rim in a size different than your mouthpiece configuration. For example: You order your SpectraTone Red with the Rim diameter you use daily, but also order an extra Rim in a smaller diameter. In this case, you will want the extra rim to match the cup diameter.
