    Add Extra Rim Shape
    $50

    Add Extra Rim Shape

    43 purchased

Save $45 off the regular retail price of $95 The Rim is the most important component of our SpectraTone Modular Mouthpiece System. We recommend settling on one rim size with one or two variations. This allows your embouchure to remain consistent as you experiment with the wide variety of cup, throat and backbore sizes available. We highly recommend the new "H" Rim, which was modeled after Jason Harrelson's personal rim shape. This rim has a more round inner radius (larger radius) providing amazing flexibility through all registers. Our second recommendation is our "W" Rim, which features a standard (average) inner radius, and provides extra cushion on the outer diameter for increased comfort and endurance. Your extra Rim will be plated silver, and can be ordered in your specific diameter in the pledge manager (sent after this campaign ends). Limit 2 extra rims per backer.

    Add Extra Cup/Throat
    $50

    Add Extra Cup/Throat

    25 purchased

Save $45 off the regular retail price of $95 The Cup/Throat on SpectraTone Red is one piece rather than the 2-piece system in previous colors. Two reasons you may want an extra Cup/Throat 1) You may want to order a custom throat diameter larger than the standard option included with your Red mouthpiece. We can make any size between .150 and .180 in this system. 2) You will need the correct diameter if you are adding on an extra Rim in a size different than your mouthpiece configuration. For example: You order your SpectraTone Red with the Rim diameter you use daily, but also order an extra Rim in a smaller diameter. In this case, you will want the extra rim to match the cup diameter. Your extra Cup/Throat will be plated silver, and can be ordered in your specific throat size in the pledge manager (sent after this campaign ends). Limit 2 extra components per backer.

    Add Extra Backbore
    $30

    Add Extra Backbore

    26 purchased

Save $12 off the regular retail price of $42 The Backbore influences the color and projection of our SpectraTone Modular Mouthpiece System. We recommend experimenting with one or two extra variations to fine tune color and projection for different genres of music. SpectraTone Red ships with our 21.31 Backbore. We recommend adding the 21.33 and 21.35 variants to open up the projection pattern and broaden the tone, when needed. Your extra Backbore will be finished in raw brass, and can be ordered in your specific diameter in the pledge manager (sent after this campaign ends). Limit 2 extra Backbores per backer. If you need a cornet backbore, this is the place to order it!

    Add Extra Lightweight Body
    $75

    Add Extra Lightweight Body

    4 purchased

Get $57 off the regular retail price of $132 Our lightest Brass L2 Body will give you more sizzle and feedback behind the bell. Some of you have specifically asked for this to be an add-on option. Keep in mind, our high efficiency Hybrid body options will produce the greatest stability in the upper register with improved projection. However, there may be situations where you do not want to project as far, and need more feedback from the player's perspective. Your extra LS Body will be finished in raw brass.

    Pocket Valves

    Pocket Valves

    2 purchased

Save 50% when you add on Pocket Valves! Pocket Valves give Brass Musicians the freedom to practice their instruments when and where playing is not practical. By visualizing your practice session while fingering through each scale, study, or musical passage, you build skills far more effective than any other method. And you'll appreciate the precision machining and engineering of this beautiful example of modern manufacturing. 4 Features you'll love: Ergonomic Handgrip that fits your hand like a glove Right hand Thumb Indent to encourage consistent hand position Realistic finger button spacing just 1mm less than a standard trumpet Made of high quality materials using precision process Pocket Valves were specifically designed to learn fingerings faster than when playing the trumpet. The springs are intentionally stronger than a trumpet to reinforce the physical action, which in turn will create a new type of memory that will translate to playing trumpet. In addition, we offer heavier springs that will work your muscles (and muscle memory) even harder. We recommend practicing with your Pocket Valves at least 5 minutes daily for the first few weeks. Here are some practice recommendations: Imagine the scale or musical passage as you practice Singing along will further accelerate progress Play the piece or passage on the piano immediately before practicing fingerings Practice along with a recording Challenge yourself to memorize individual phrases, then entire segments of your music

    Rumors Custom Trumpet

The new Rumors limited edition series is our answer to an amazing professional trumpet in the $5000-6000 range. Regular retail price before adding options is $5000. We have limited this option to 2 orders for the entire SpectraTone Red campaign. Rumors and Dreams are two matching, but different trumpets. Rumors is a commercial, lead, big band instrument, and Dreams is an all-around performer that works in every situation. Both feature an attractive hex-milled design on a number of B.R.A.S.S. components that are both thematic and functional. That BRASS acronym you just read is explained below, but in a few words, these B.R.A.S.S. components noticeably improve the playability and resonance of these beautiful trumpets. The new Rumors & Dreams line is my answer to the modern day Bravura model, which was so very successful in years past. The goal is to offer a horn that feels like home to each and every player. This is only possible with the VGR system, or by manually modifying the mouthpiece gap for each player. And that's exactly what I'm offering. When you choose the optional VGR upgrade, you'll have the world's most advanced fully adjustable impedance system ever designed. If you're on a strict budget, choose the included Zero Gap Receiver, and get ready to file down the end of your mouthpiece to optimize your setup. Either way, I will show you exactly how to make your new R&D trumpet fit like a glove in every register, on every note, at every dynamic level. I've studied brass acoustics since 1992, and I'm here to help you achieve success like you've never known. There are several upgrade options available, which will be discussed before your trumpet is complete. Estimated delivery: March 2024 You can learn more about Rumors & Dreams trumpets at whyharrelson.com
