Two months no news. What's happening?

Can you explain why shipping is so expensive? How can it cost $14 to ship a single book? That is increasing the price of this book by 50%.

I understand that the shipping cost will vary and isn't being charged until fulfillment, but I would appreciate a rough estimate of what to expect. An expected $50 shipping charge is wildly different from an expected $10 shipping charge for example.
