Project Update: New Playtest Materials and Backer Surveys

It has been a while since we spoke. I just wanted to give you all an update on the current status of The Knight and bring a couple things to your attention:
It has been a while since we spoke. I just wanted to give you all an update on the current status of The Knight and bring a couple things to your attention:
- Overall Schedule: I still intend to deliver the complete Version of The Knight in September 2026 and am on track to do so. As of right now, I cannot give a more precise date, but I expect it to be in the send half of the month.
- Class Development: Things are going well! Design is nearly wrapped up, but as always, things may shift around or be changed between now and release.

- If you are a Knight level backer (or higher), you should have just received an email with a .zip file containing the latest version (V0.8.4) of the full class (levels 1-10).
- Personal Heraldry Surveys: If you are a "Knight-Commander" backer, please check the email associated with your Backerkit account.
- Credits Surveys: If you are a "knight" backer (or higher), please check the email associated with your Backerkit account. If you do not respond with your naming preference by August 31st, 2026, I will use the name listed on your Backerkit account.
- Art: I am still working on the art briefs for each of the pieces funded by the campaign. My goal is to send out the commission information to artists by the end of the month.
- Subclass 4: The Psionicist: Currently in development. I will notify backers once a presentable preview is ready, which I anticipate will be done by August 1st.
- Codex Integration: Currently on hold. Codex integration will not begin in earnest until the design of the class is finalized.
- Community Copies: In total, 55 Community Copies were funded. There were 60 non-backing followers of the Backerkit campaign before the funding period ended. I have decided to make up the difference and donate 5 more community copies, meaning that if you followed The Knight BEFORE June 4th, you WILL receive a copy of of the class for free when it releases this September.
