Project Update: V1.0 Release Imminent!
The end of September is RAPIDLY approaching, and with it, the official release of The Knight!
It's been a while since we spoke, so brace yourself for a wall of text:
It's been a while since we spoke, so brace yourself for a wall of text:
- Overall Schedule: The Knight will release on September 30th, 2026.
- This release will include the class pdf and forge steel sourcefile.
- This release will NOT include Subclass 4 (see below for more information)
- This release will NOT include full codex implementation (see below for more information)
- Class Development: DONE.
- Playtesting is complete, layout is done, and final proof-reading passes are in progress.
- If you are a Knight level backer (or higher), you should have just received an email with a .zip file containing the latest version (V0.9.2) of the full class (levels 1-10).
- The GDrive preview folder is shutting down. As of today, if you want to find a preview version of the class, you will have to do so at jacons.itch.io
- Personal Heraldry Surveys: DONE.
- You can check out the Heraldry of our Knight-Commanders on the Credits page (page ii) of the pdf.
- Credits Surveys: CLOSING SOON!!!
- If you area a Knight-Level backer, CHECK YOUR EMAIL!
- If you have not responded to the credits survey yet, you have until September 25th 11:59 PM Pacific Daylight Time to do so.
- Art: DONE.
- See the Credits page for the list of artists and art pieces featured in The Knight!
- Subclass 4: The Psionicist: IN PROGRESS.

- A level 1 prototype of the Bannerlord is complete and playable!

- Community Copies: Slated for release on September 30th, 2026.
