Great news folks! Movie Moths are 100% shipped!

I hand-packed every Movie Moths pin with extra care myself (in the middle of the night while watching crappy shows on Netflix). Some of you may even have your moths in hand now! If not, I did send out tracking info to everyone so you can check the status. Worth noting, it may take a little extra time for international orders to arrive, and a few international orders did not qualify for tracking. But they are all out there on their merry way to you!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, Movie Moths could not have happened without you. I am forever grateful I got to make these lil creatures. I hope you love them. Moths are cool and so are you!

Now all my attention is going towards my next crowdfunding project on BackerKit — Realm Runners.

Great news everyone — Movie Moths pin orders start shipping this week 📦

After a small delay with my card back printer, all is now on track and I have everything I need to start shipping. So keep an eye on those mailboxes 👁👁 Your little moth friends are on their way home! And if you missed the last update, you can see the finished pins HERE.

This has been such a fun experience all around and I am extremely grateful to everyone who has supported this passion project.

And once all these pins are shipped out I'm full steam ahead on my next project — a new tabletop game called Realm Runners which you can get a sneak peak at HERE ✨

Hey everyone, I have some great news — the Movie Moths pins have been manufactured and have already been delivered to my home to prep for shipping. And they turned out fantastic 🎉

Great news everyone — 90% of you have completed your Movie Moths survey! That means there are still 10% of you that need to complete this step in order to get your pins on time ⏳

I'll be locking all orders on Wednesday, April 19th around 5PM PST so make any adjustments such as adding more pins to your order before then.

Then, on Thursday, April 20th around 11 AM PST I'll be charging all cards!

And some more great news — my manufacturing order for the pins is all set and ready to go! All I need to do is pay the invoice which I can do once all cards are charged and processed.

So we are right on track and it looks like I'll be getting the pins in early to mid May and then I will ship to you shortly after.

I'll keep you all updated and share pics when I get them.

Hello all you movie moth lovers out there 👋🏼 The time has come to make your pin selections and consider adding a few other cool pins to your final order before I start the manufacturing and shipping process 📦

Early this week you will receive an email with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since I need this information to fulfill your rewards.

When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase any add-on items that look gooooood! You don’t have access to this survey link just yet, but it will be available soon via email 💌

After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before I close the surveys and get my final counts.

I'm setting the deadline to complete your survey to TUESDAY, APRIL 18th — should be easy to remember because that's also Tax Day in the USA. Please do fill out your survey as soon as you get it.

I decided to add a few more moth pins while I was at it because I will likely not make any new moth pins any time soon. These will all be available as optional add-ons within your survey. I also made some slight edits to the ring design to make them a little more unique. These designs may take on a few more slight adjustments as I work with the manufacturer, but these are pretty darn close to the final look. Here's a rundown for each pin pictured above:

Death Moth — inspired by the film The Silence of the Lambs (1991). 1.25" hard enamel w/ shiny copper effect.

Kaiju Moth — inspired by the film Godzilla vs Mothra (1964). 1.25" hard enamel w/ shiny gold effect.

Mothman — inspired by the film The Mothman Prophecies (2002). 1.25" hard enamel w/ shiny black nickel effect.

Fellowship Moth — inspired by the film The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings (2001). 1.25" hard enamel w/ antique copper effect.

Pixel Moth — inspired by the video game The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past (1992). 1.25" hard enamel w/ rainbow finish effect.

Luna Moth — inspired by the video game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (2011). 1.25" hard enamel w/ glow-in-the-dark effect.

Additionally, I'll be offering previous pin designs I've made including all of my Pizza Pinz at a discounted price. All my Pizza Pinz come packaged in a mini pizza box and are very cool. I think you will dig 'em 🍕

I see you 👁👁 I knew I could find some fellow cinephiles with a deep adoration for moths featured in movies. Welcome!

First off...wow! I am beyond stoked that Movie Moths got 100% funded in just a few hours. It's actually been a low key dream of mine to create an enamel pin based off Mothman. Initially this was just going to be a straight up single pin Mothman campaign. But the more I thought about how creepy the movie The Mothman Prophecies (2002) is the more I started thinking about other movie moths. Of course my next inspiration was The Silence of the Lambs (1991) and then soon after Godzilla vs Mothra (1964). Three makes a set! The rest was history.

But what I am really truly here to say is THANK YOU! Thank you to all 100+ of you that supported this project on day 1. It means the world to me. And we still have 3 weeks to go so if you know of any other moth enthusiasts, you know where to point them!

I also just wanted to say how proud I am of each and every creator participating in Pintopia by BackerKit. Myself and the BackerKit team have been hard at work organizing this crowdfunding event for a few months now and I am beyond pleased to see it all launch today.

As few things that will be a little different compared to other crowdfunding projects you have backed include: no stretch goals, no add-ons during the campaign window, and each Pintopia project only has 1-3 pins on offer allowing for a smaller funding goal. And what I'm most excited about are the platform incentives from BackerKit. The more pins you back from different creators, the more FREE pins you will earn. And we have a slew of amazing pins available to unlock.
