I'm super excited to share my updated design for the 2nd stretch goal: Huitzilopochtli the Aztec Sun God! Huitzilopochtli wielded a mythological fire serpent called Xiuhcoatl as a powerful weapon and staff. On this 3" pin, a dangling red drop charm will hang off his serpent staff. This represents the sacrifices he demanded to keep him alive to make the sun rise every morning 🩸☀️
Pin details:
This pin will be 3" tall with screen printing sun reflection on his skin and details on the feathers. I originally drew this as a black nickel finish out of habit, but I might change it to gold metal & tweak the colors a bit~

I added a small update to his sketch design: a rainbow arc behind him that ties him back to his folklore where he lives at the bottom of the rainbow 🌈💖

Before I could even finish typing this update, we’ve officially unlocked Xólotl~ the Evening Star and dark twin Brother of Quetzalcóatl!
