"What are ya buyin'?" Help me restock my series of popular RE pins during a confusing time of tariff bills and uncertain futures for small business. Enamel pins featuring iconic imagery spanning from across the beloved survival horror series.
This is my first time doing BackerKit! I've heard very positive things about using this platform, especially for enamel pins. Thank you all for following pre-launch and I'm excited to make this happen! ^-^ <3

Hi, I’m Grace! I’ve been helming Joan of Art since 2021. As a huge fan of the 'Resident Evil' series, one of my first goals as a small business focused in fandom was to create enamel pins for the fans just like me who wanted that iconic imagery immortalized in a collectable, wearable way. Over the past 4 years, my pins have become a beloved series owned by RE fans all over the world.
Then, in 2025, the tariffs started in the US. It's no surprise now that everything has changed, and small artists like me have been struggling to find ways to make art like they used to, let alone make ends meet. I haven't been able to do a restock due to the increased costs. It's frustrating, but that's where this project--and you--come in!! <3

You may be familiar with other crowdfunding platforms, such as Kickstarter. I have used Kickstarter for my previous merch projects. For this one, I thought I'd try BackerKit, as I hear it is a better platform for enamel pin artists!
BackerKit works the same way as Kickstarter. Backers submit pledges to a crowdfunding campaign over a set period of time. If the campaign has reached the funding goal by the end date, the payment is processed, the product will be made, and the backers will receive their reward. If the funding goal IS NOT met, nothing is processed, and nothing is made.
Essentially, it's an all or nothing. While this is nerve-wracking, it is also exciting, and encourages people to spread the word and get the hype out. It also creates a framework for the project timeline: from campaign start to rewards received.
