I took a huge box to the post office today and mailed all the paperbacks ordered (unless you ordered a hardback too). Hardbacks will follow tomorrow or Thursday at the latest!

A few folks hadn't filled out their surveys yet but were only getting ebooks, so I completed the surveys for you so I could send your email with the download codes. Uh, I also accidentally completed the survey for someone who also ordered a paperback, so if that was you, that's what happened. Sorry.

We still have a few folks--three, I think--who have yet to complete their surveys. I'd love to have a 100% response rate and get everyone taken care of, so please drop by and finish that survey as soon as possible!

Everyone who filled out their survey has been charged for postage and add-ons, if applicable. Somehow my Stripe account, which has been working just fine with Backerkit, somehow got scrambled and instead of my Tigerbat Tails account, it linked to my buymeacoffee.com account, which I use for exactly one thing: sending $5 a month to The Great State Mural, a Mongolian politics and culture podcast, so I can access their bonus episodes that I always forget to access. So anyway, if you see buymeacoffee.com on your receipt, that's me. Sorry.

If you had digital downloads, you should have now received an email with a link to download them! If you didn't get the email, 1. check your spam filter, of course, 2. make sure your payment went through today, 3. make sure you actually filled out your survey. If you still can't find it, feel free to email me! [email protected]

The hardback copies are arriving TOMORROW! I already have the paperbacks, so over the next several days, I'll start mailing physical books! If you need to update your address, please do so as soon as possible. I'll be locking addresses in a day or two. If I've locked addresses and you need to update it, again, you can email me!

I hope you all like the book! The official publication date is Oct. 20, and I see pages on B&N and Amazon for it already. I think you can post reviews even before the book is officially available. You know, if you want to.

Thanks again! I feel like I've made 10,000 mistakes trying to navigate BackerKit for the first time, so thanks also for your patience.

Heads up that BackerKit will be charging cards for shipping and any add-on items you purchased on October 6! I was going to make it Oct. 7 but I want to get the books mailed out ASAP!

This charge will appear on your bank statement as (probably) Tigerbat Tails. Please make sure that you have the correct card information on file. If any issues arise with your payment you’ll receive an email letting your know to correct your payment information.

If you already got a charge a few days ago for the ebook, you're all set, because I sent that through without realizing I should update first. If you only ordered digital rewards, you should have already received an email with a link to download your copies! If you can't get it to work, please email me at [email protected]!

I'll be locking orders tomorrow too, so if you were thinking of grabbing an add-on, better do it today!

Here's where we are with fulfillment:
1. Digital only rewards = all set, download links emailed.
2. Paperback copies = I have them here and ready to mail!
3. Hardback copies = printed, shipping to me, arrival hopefully next week some time and then I'll get them sent out immediately!

It's official! The ebook versions of The Moonhound, Beyond Bigfoot and Nessie, and Small Mysteries are all ready to go!

I'm new to this whole distribution via BookFunnel thing (the last time I did this, I laboriously emailed every single backer a download code individually), so I don't know if I did it right. If I did, everyone who pledged for a copy of the ebook should receive an email telling you how to download your books!

If it doesn't work, I'll figure it out tomorrow. I may need to lock orders first. I'll be locking orders soon anyway, so if there's an add-on you were thinking of getting, better grab it now or you won't be able to do so soon.

The paperback copies have arrived and look amazing! Hardback copies are being printed now and should be here within a week or so.

My next step is to figure out the cheapest way to mail the books to international backers, which I will do within a few days. Once the BackerKit team approves my shipping settings, those of you who ordered physical books will receive an email about shipping cost. That's a good time for you to update your mailing address if you need to.

I can't wait for everyone to get their book copies!

I received the paperback and hardback proof copies yesterday and they look great! The paperback needed some minor updates to the cover, but my amazing cover designer already got that taken care of. I also took the opportunity to go through the entire book and make some minor changes--fixing typos, mainly.

That means I'm ready to order paperback and hardback copies for backers! The ebook is likewise ready to go.

I still need to get shipping sorted out. U.S. orders can be shipped media mail, which is cheaper and usually doesn't take much longer than first class ground shipping. Other countries are more complicated, but I'll do everything I can to keep shipping costs as low as possible.

Once I have shipping approved by Backerkit, I'll be locking orders. Don't worry, you'll get a warning ahead of time if you need to update shipping information.

We still have a few folks who haven't filled out the survey. I can't ship your books to you if you don't complete the survey, because that's where you verify your mailing address!
