One of the add-ons is a nonfiction book called Small Mysteries, about mysteries (mostly scientific) surrounding small animals, both living and extinct. It occurs to me that I could offer the first Strange Animals Podcast book, Beyond Bigfoot & Nessie: Lesser-Known Mystery Animals from Around the World, as another add-on--ebook only, but for far cheaper than you can get it online.
Let me know if that's something you'd be interested in, and if I get positive feedback, I should be able to add it as an add-on option.
Thanks again for all your support so far!
We're well past the halfway mark to reach the audiobook stretch goal. Since there are still three weeks left in the campaign, I'm optimistically confident that we're get there!
I spoke with the voice actor who will (hopefully) be narrating the book, and she's as excited as I am about the project. She's from East Tennessee so she has the right accent for the mountain critters that make up the book, and she's an amazing actor too so she can make the most of the story.
I'm trying not to send too many updates and emails, because I don't want to spam everyone too much. Feel free to post any questions or comments that you might have!
The main stretch goal is the big one, for the audiobook version. If we reach the goal of $2,000, every single backer will receive a download code for the audiobook once it's done! I already have the voice actor chosen and she's excited for the project too. Fingers crossed that we reach the goal, because voice work is hard, and she deserves to be paid well!

Project Update: Halfway! And a possible new add-on option

Engaged with this project 3+ times 🌟
Hi! I am considering upping my pledge to the “name a character” pledge, however I have a few questions about it first. My first question is if it is just the character’s first name, or if we give both a first and last name to the character? I imagine it is just the first name to prevent any issues, however that's just my assumption. My other question is if I could ask about a few potential name options first before I add "name a character" to my pledge to make sure they would work? I have a few names I like and might want to use, but would like to verify about them first. (e.g. to make sure they aren't either already used by other characters or might make parts of the book potentially confusing) Thanks!
Project Update: One week, and wow!
