I'm still working on edits, but as a rough estimate, it is about 30,000 words. That's **~*roughly*~** around 100 pages depending on how I decide to format it. It's a novella, which means it's shorter than a novel. It's a quick, fun read but it has depth too.

I've done my best to make the book suitable for everyone to read, but it's not intended for young children (although your kid may love it--it depends on the kid in question). There's only mild bad language and no overt sexual content, but there are some potentially scary scenes, including several fight scenes, one with a gun. Still, it's cozy fantasy so the vibe is overall hopeful and the emphasis is on friendship and belonging.

One of the pledge levels is the ability for you to name a character in The Moonhound. Here is how that will work. After the campaign ends, I’ll message everyone who backed at the “name a character level” to ask for the name you want me to use. You can let me know as much or as little about the name as you like. I’ll do my best to match the name to a character who most closely fits the details you provide, with limitations. For instance, if four people back at this level and all four names start with the same letter, I’ll need to make sure the four characters so named are in different scenes. Otherwise it can get really confusing! Similarly, the book is already written and there are only so many characters I have earmarked for renaming. I can’t guarantee that your chosen name will be given to a specific species or gender of animal, although I’ll do my best to match your preferences whenever possible. All characters to be renamed have speaking parts, and a few of them will probably appear in the sequel, possibly with a more important role! If you have questions, feel free to post or message me!

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
