Just one last quick update on The Return of the Headless Horseman.

The book is now in layout and is almost completely done. This turned into a big one. Roughly half the book is appendices that expand on the adventure and help tie in material from the previous adventures we released. There is a lot in here, and it ended up being a much larger project than expected. That said, I am nearly finished with layout and expect it to be out this week.

The delays came down to a mix of too much work and real life problems piling up. To make matters worse, a tree fell on my house and caused all kinds of delays, including us being without power for a week. I am still dealing with some of that mess, but we are getting everything wrapped up. It has just moved slower than I wanted on all fronts.

Wits & Ephemera is still being a pain in the rear, but I have it figured out now, and it will be the next thing I tackle once the adventure is done.

Thanks again for sticking with me. We are almost there. 

Writs & Ephemera is finally getting wrapped up this weekend. My hope is to have it out next week. I won’t lie, this book has been a headache. Every project gets to be cursed, and apparently this one drew the short straw. That said, it’s coming together, and I’m pushing it across the finish line now.

The Return of the Headless Horseman adventure is currently in layout, and I will have it finished before the end of the month. This thing grew way beyond the original plan. . . in a good way. It pulls together details, threads, rumors, and fallout from all the books and adventures, and it really feels like a proper finale to the line.

I’m doing my best to keep it under 200 pages, but it’s dense, detailed, and absolutely worth the wait. This is us going out strong. We wanted the final adventure to feel complete, meaningful, and memorable, and that’s what this is shaping up to be.

Thank you, genuinely, for the patience. We’re taking the time here because we want to end Sleepy Hollow the right way, and I think you’re going to love how it all comes together.

Quick update with a few big things we’ve been hammering away at behind the scenes.

The Haunted by Sleepy Hollow community license is ready. Yes — it’s long. It’s long on purpose. We wanted to answer every question up front, avoid confusion later, and give creators as much clarity and freedom as possible without stepping on anyone’s toes. The license includes its own logos, clear usage rules, and explanations to make sure you feel confident using it.

We’ll eventually create a dedicated page on our website where everything will be housed in one place. As we move forward, we’ll add more support and resources for anyone looking to build their own adventures, expansions, or odd little chapbooks under the banner.

The final adventure is almost wrapped. Return of the Headless Horseman has grown into something truly massive — easily 150+ pages — and it’s shaping up to be an honestly epic finale to this whole BackerKit project. It picks up right where It Begins left off and delivers the ending this campaign deserves. This one is going to hit hard in all the right ways, and you can imaginee we are excited to finish this off.
