Hello Noop Troop!

I am so relieved to share that Galaxy Nu has been signed off on and now all plush are approved for mass production!

I appreciate the patience with me getting her absolutely perfect.  There's so many gorgeous fabrics out there and I really wanted to make sure we got her as close to her first production as possible.. This is another reminder though that this material varies greatly from batch to batch. Her final outcome may have splotches of Pink, blue, purple, and possibly a little yellow--as I do believe this fabric does have tiny specks of yellow on it. 
She is our beautiful Galaxy girl! 

We should have a production update hopefully in a month or so.
We are still on track for a September fulfillment timeframe!

 I may be radio silent for the duration of the month while production takes place.

  Apologies for how long this campaign update took to get to you guys. I just want to reassure folks that even though there isn't a ton of updates at this moment, that things are still progressing behind the scenes. There were a couple delays due to the May holiday and waiting for material to arrive. With the exception of a delay on approving Galaxy Nu, I am hopeful that we will get production initiated soon.

Here is the current update:

  4 of the 6 plush have been cleared for mass production, but there is just one small hang up with Galaxy Nu. 
The initial fabric I chose unfortunately had too much yellow in it (this wasn't easily seen in the small square I have on my fabric swatch cards), which is outside of my original vision for Galaxy Nu. We are waiting for the adjusted fabric to arrive and having another version of Galaxy Nu made. 
  I've received a lot of positive feedback about this color variation, so I have instructed Steven to ship her to me and I will keep her on hand if we choose to produce her in our upcoming 2027 lineup! 
  Please note this is NOT the final Galaxy Nu for this campaign. I just wanted to at least share her with you all so you could see her / see the concern I have with the yellow color variation in her fur. 

 

  Spoopy Noopy has arrived to me for looking over and he is approved with a couple minor adjustments.
He will be updated to have purple embroidery for his mouth, and an adjustment to his ribbon style (the one they used for my sample is ribbed which is not my aesthetic preference hah)

Once Galaxy Nu is updated and I can approve her fabric coloration, we will be able to initiate full mass production for this order.

Costumes are from our Eggcellent Noop campaign and are scheduled to arrive in August sometime!
I want to let everyone know that production updates from here will be very few, as this campaign is 99.9% plush and no other bobbles besides the carabiners and dust bags. Please do not be alarmed by any radio silence. In this scenario, no news is typically good news until we get the greenlight that plush are finished!
I will of course update when things are rocking and rolling with production and when I get everyone approved and shipped to me. There is a chance we might be ahead of schedule-- but I do not want to count our Noops before they hatch!

First; apologies for the delay in the sample progress. I have nudged Steven and am hoping to have updated sample pictures of Galaxy Nu and Spoopy Noopy this week. If this is a concern for you, please hang tight. 🫶🏼

🔔 Second: Backers with failed payments from the main campaign have been dropped. Your pledges have been marked cancelled. You will need to wait until our left overs drop to obtain any of the Noops from this campaign.
Normally, I would be willing to make accommodations and help backers with arranging alternative payment methods, but due to the volume of orders and the agenda I’ve got going on this year, I do not have the bandwidth to do so for this campaign. 😅

🚨 With the exception of Pay over time backers:
• PLEASE read this next part if your initial payment failed (and you’ve still not made at least one payment on your balance):
THESE ORDERS CANNOT BE CANCELLED FROM MY END!!  If you are needing assistance with your POT arrangement you will need to contact Backerkit support. I have discovered through a friend that even if your initial payment fails to charge, Stripe will still continue to attempt to charge your monthly payment until it’s paid. At the time of this post I do not know of any way to cancel it from my end. This is only my second time enabling POT for campaigns and my fist encounter for needing to cancel a POT charge (the customer requested an alternative payment option), so I apologize if this is confusing. I was under the (now confirmed false) impression that if I marked a pledge as cancelled or “refunded” the payment that it would stop the automatic charge.
This is not the case. It will continue to try to charge as this was technically a commitment to purchase due to the payment terms with pay over time.
This hasn’t shown to be a huge issue, so I do not think I need to worry about it too much but should this become an issue down the road, I will no longer be able to enable POT for future campaigns.

We have a good majority of backers who have filled out their surveys! Thank you for this as it greatly helps me with keeping things moving along.
If you have not filled out your survey please do so!

Shipping fees will be charged closer to fulfillment. At this time, do not worry about that charge and once we are closer to that time I’ll update backers and post the shipping fees!

Payment methods for last minute add-ons will be processed today. Failed payment methods will have 7 days to fix them. Failed payments after that time will have their add ons removed so I can close your survey.
Scenario Example:
• You pledged for 1 Noopy plush and your initial campaign pledge was successful. 
• You received your survey and filled it out, and decided you wanted to add +1 Noopy plush. Your balance due is $26. 
• I process the charge for the additional Noopy and your card declined. You will have seven days to remedy that. 
• After 7 days I attempt the charge again, and it fails. I will remove that additional Noopy, and you will only receive the one (or any item) you paid for.

I hope this helps clarify the scenario for backers who may be confused. 

You will know if your payment method failed because you’ll be emailed by Backerkit. If you fixed your payment method after receiving the email, please just email me and I can to process your payment  again sooner. 

I’ll be getting those pictures as soon as I can and sharing them with you all!

Hello everyone! This is a quick update to let backers know that I have initiated smoke test surveys.

I'll be initiating full surveys on April 10th!
Here is a copy/paste from the previous update..

It is imperative that you fill this survey out as soon as you receive yours. To completion. In its entirety. Failure to do so means I cannot count your order or process it.
⚠Note: Pay over time backers are unable to be issued or fill out their surveys until their balance is paid in full. Please do your best to pay your balance off as soon as possible so I can issue your survey!

"How do I know if I've filled out my survey completely?"-- You'll need to add your payment information and click "Submit". If you have not received a 'confirmation email' showing you've filled out your survey, then it's a safe bet that you haven't filled it out to completion.
"Why do you need my payment information again? I've already paid!"-- The payment information is so I can have it on file for processing shipping fees closer to fulfillment as well as so I can process charges for any additional items you decide to add last minute. Payment information can be updated at any time.
 Shipping addresses are not locked until we start processing shipping fees, so if you also plan on moving, just put your current address and closer to fulfillment time I will be prompting backers to double check their information (and backerkit will also notify you and prompt you as well!)
  Shipping fees are estimated to be charged around September or so and I will be giving a heads up to backers before this happens so you can know what your shipping fees will be.
USPS plans to have some adjustments to their rates, so while I cannot give a guaranteed 'price chart' right now, I can give an estimate. For USA backers, the rates are estimated to be flat rate of around $8-9. For International backers, I use Asendia Simple Economy rates, which starts at around $18USD (CA), upwards to $26-28USD (AU). These are just a broad spectrum estimate of the rates however, and the final cost will vary.

"I qualified for the free dust bag but I do not see it in my backerkit pledge!" -- This is normal. This is because these items are manually added to your order via Pledge Manager. This manual adjustment to pledges does not carry over to your original backerkit pledge.

I will be locking any open surveys that are filled out on April 17th and beyond. Any additional add-ons you have added will be charged at that time/after that time, please bare that in mind when you finish your survey! (Note: This is only for last-minute items you added during the survey process. The items from your initial pledge have already been charged!)
Any last minute add ons that have failed payments or no payment method added will be removed if payment is unsuccessful after April 28th.

Hello Noop Troop! 

The campaign has officially ended, and with our capacity reached! Here are important next steps for backers to know. 

We have an estimated 60 or so failed pledges. Please do your best to remedy those payment methods as soon as possible so you do not lose your spot in the campaign. The deadline for remedying your payment method is April 14th. Failed payments that are not fixed may be cancelled and you will forfeit any freebies unlocked during the campaign.
At this time I do not foresee opening up preorders or backup spots for those who may want to take the place of dropped backers.
There is no pre-order store being opened for this campaign.
For those who are wanting to order any of the Noops from this campaign, please stay tuned and follow me on Instagram for the left overs drop date, which is still tentative, but is looking to be closer to October or so. If this changes, I will make updates along the way. 

I am working on getting pledge manager up and running and preparing surveys for backers to fill out. For those who are new to Backerkit/crowdfunding in general, this is extremely important because this is how creators collect the necessary information to be able to process your "pledge" as an official "Order". During this survey you will be prompted to fill out shipping information and confirm your final order details including a last chance to add on any additional goodies from the campaign. I will make a campaign update to let backers know when theirs should be issued, which I estimate to be in around 1-2 weeks or so (pending clearance from the Backerkit team!)
