OK--it looks like I may have solved the pdf issue. The folks at BackerKit tell me that I cannot actually send out download links without running the survey...but that I should not do a survey since Exalted Funeral is running the mega-pledge-manager and it could mess things up.
But they also said that I can add the pdf files directly to your My Digital Rewards library in BackerKit (you'll have access to the files from your dashboard, you just will not get an email with a download link.) 
I have directions on how to set it up, and it looks pretty straight forward, but it will probably take me a day or two to get everything in order. 
(It also sounds like some people are just finding the files in their DTRPG libraries once I add them that way--so you might look there as well.)
I'll let you all know once the files have been added to your My Digital Rewards libraries and send some images of the front proof soon! Thanks for your patience and for hanging with us while we work through this system. It's a bit of a pain, but I think it will be worth it for everyone who backed multiple projects (or anyone who backed us internationally).
