In half a day our voyage is starting! Wooohoooo! :)
So, a quick recap and some news.
Factions and Trivia and Engagement Don't forget to pick a faction and vote on trivia questions! There will be a nice reward for the winning team, as well as for the most active and most knowledgeable pirates. You'll also learn something about pirate history along the way, so you can show off your newfound knowledge during your next game of Pirate Borg.
See previous Update, where I talk about it a bit more.
There will be several Achievements/Stretch Goals tied to Engagement. Engagement includes each comment, vote, etc. on this BackerKit page. This is my attempt to make the campaign a bit more fun, especially during the mid-slump, for every backer. So expect daily or bi-daily updates, achievements, polls, etc.
Early bird! Every backer during the first 48 hours will receive a 3-inch iron-on patch for FREE!
Talk like a parrot day Last weekend was Talk Like a Pirate Day, so we hosted an open gaming event in our local board game pub. It was a nice day full of pirate ARRRR's, costumes, grogs, and laughs!
I ran Limithron's Parrot Borg, which was so damn fun. It was basically the Penguins of Madagascar with colorful feathers and tiny pirate hats! :D
