Hello hello!! I got in a few items this week for this project, a few more are being made, and my manu is shipping the bulk of the project next week! Here's some pre shipment photos and a couple of items I got. keep in mind these photos are awful lol... but they give you an idea...
The next step is that as these items arrive, we will sort them, QC them, and begin labeling bins and putting them away. This takes about 2-3 weeks depending on shipment time and pin quality. Once everything is sorted and ready, if we have all the items, we will begin packing orders. Go in, check your addresses, make any changes! Thank you
For those of you who didn't fill out your surveys, PLEASE so! Surveys close July 20th!!! After that, the freebies get removed from your order.
The Surveys that have been filled out get locked tomorrow, cards will be charged the 20th.
I have finished all of the files and sent in the orders to my manufacturers based on the numbers I have. I'll update them on the 20th if there are any major changes, but again, if you don't fill out your survey before I make my order finalized.. I can't promise I'll have the pins you want.
PLEASE fix your payments. a whole bunch of you have failed pledges. I get it, but it's a huge amount and I want to make sure that we have the money in budget for the freebies I promised.
On Saturday I finished creating the surveys and I sent them in for approval.
I'm hoping to get the smoke tests out ASAP. But Please know that they are on their way soon! Smoke tests are just the survey sent to 5% of backers so we can make sure everything is working as expected. So if you get one, please fill it out to help me.
I added a few knick knacks, a pin variant, some beans, and a couple stickers to the survey! Make sure to check them out.
The actual full survey will be send out over 4th of July weekend- 6th. I gave you until July 20th to fill out your survey, so if you're on vacation... no rush.
After July 20th, I'll be finalizing the counts. If you do not fill out your survey before I order... you will have your freebies removed. I can only order what you actually tell me you want. So if you don't fill out the survey.... you are forfeiting those rewards.
In your survey you'll also find a Gift credit code for my palmstreet shop! But it expires when the survey closes. So you'll lose that if you don't fill it out.
Today I ordered all the stickers. YAY! Because they were Holographic.... they were a lot.
I also ordered all of the frames and the fabric to make the pinboards and It arrived today. The fabric is gorgeous and these pinboards are going to be amazing. Steph will begin making them all soon. The pinboards are a shadowbox style frame that can be tabletop or wall hanging, they have a thick layer of foam, then a layer of cork, and a layer of cellulosa velvet on top. The velvet helps hide puncture marks so that you can move your pins. The cork helps keep the pins secure.
I have begin using my Pantone book and creating files for my manufacturing factory. This usually takes a few days as it's very tedious, but I expect to have those ready in the next couple days.
I will be going on vacation from July 19-august 6th. We are driving cross country so make sure to check out my instagram for clips. I will be able to finalize my order count and send it in while traveling, so that'll be ready to go
