Project Update: Production Locked In, Tooling Underway, Custom Lining, Collector’s Bundle, Sample Timing
Hey Wanderers quick production update!
I’ve been busy at Fan Expo Chicago this past weekend, but now that I’m back home I’m diving straight back into production. Over the past few weeks I’ve been working with multiple manufacturers to get the sample exactly right. I did have to drop the first two factories I tested... I paid them, reviewed their work, and their standards simply did not meet what this project requires. I refuse to settle for anything less than the right build...
The good news:
I am still working with another factory (this was my backup; I wanted to have options) that came recommended by a trusted industry contact, and their communication and technical understanding have already been a huge step up. Production has already begun these things take time, but they’ve promised to expedite the process. We actually have real mold and tooling work happening right now, which is one of the biggest milestones in getting these backpacks made correctly.

The manufacturer has already begun the sample process, but the final sample will not be ready before the campaign ends on 8/30 is what I was informed. This is completely normal for tooling‑based production molds take time, and rushing them would hurt the final quality. I want to be upfront about the timeline, and I’ll continue posting consistent updates throughout the entire production process. I’ve completed many successful projects in the past, and I’m confident in this one. I’m here every day making sure everything moves forward correctly. They are working with me and are trying to expedite.
