Updates

Hi! This is to let you know that surveys are going out for The Shard of Elan, and it's time to help me send your backer rewards.

First, the sorta-bad news: I spoke with my printer, and production is a little behind. Not a lot, but combined with the necessary weeks of shipping, we're now looking at an early December delivery date to me.

Better news: By my current calculations, I should still have time to turn around and ship promptly for gifting. If that starts to look sketchy, I will provide a pretty printable card to tell your recipient what's coming, so you still get full credit for being awesome.

Good news: This actually opens up the survey window a little, as I don't have to have all the labels and packages ready to go as quickly.

So here are the deadlines:

If you requested the special edition set without the premium slipcase upgrade, your survey must be submitted by Dec 1 for December shipping. This is so I can get everything ready to ship immediately upon arrival.

If you requested (or want to add) the premium slipcase upgrade (because it's gorgeous), your survey must be submitted by November 7. These are individually made to order and require some time.

If you requested the standard paperbacks or other items, but not the special editions, please submit your survey by Oct 31 for shipment in early November.

If your survey comes in after those dates, your rewards are still good! but they will ship later. Your items will ship in mid or late December, or when your survey is completed.

Ebooks

I will be signing and personalizing your ebooks as well!

If you already have a Bookfunnel account, be sure to use that email address where asked in the survey. If not, don't worry, I pay for it so there's no charge to you. :) Your ebooks delivered via Bookfunnel can be read in the Bookfunnel app on your phone or tablet, or shared to another device (Nook, Kindle, etc.).

Let me know if you have any questions!

The new Shard of Elan premium slipcase is here.

JUST LOOK AT IT.

It will be available as an add-on, if you did not back at this level. Surveys will go out next week.

We did it! The Shard of Elan special editions (and more) are GO.

I know you may be receiving a virtual onslaught of backer emails right now, if you backed multiple Printopia projects, so I hope this one comes quietly into your inbox and is ready when you need to check it. :)

The special editions are in production, and the other add-ons are stacked and waiting. Pledges typically need a couple of weeks to clear, and then I'll send backer surveys to finalize your details. If you haven't done much with Backerkit before, it can be easy to miss these, so please keep an eye on your inbox; without a complete survey, you won't receive your backer rewards.

Expect surveys about the third week of October. (Date will depend on when pledges clear Backerkit.) The survey will settle important details such as where to ship your new boxed set, or whether you want that add-on title in ebook, paperback, audio, or hardback. Then your shipping costs for physical rewards will be calculated and charged.

I'll keep you updated on shipping timelines as I know more. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Hi! I'm just popping in to deliver one of the following messages:

If you need another reason to back, or if you need a reason to congratulate yourself on your backing, try one of these:

Printopia and this campaign closes THURSDAY, OCT 1, so get your pledge in soon!
