Hello Shroomie friends! I meant to send out this update much sooner, but the past number of weeks have been almost entirely consumed with packing and shipping out all of the pins. It was such a tremendous joy seeing which combinations of Shroomies each of you ordered, and I hope they continuously bring lots of silliness and smiles to your pin collection 😁🙌
💛 Sticker Sheets
Those of you who ordered sticker sheets may have already seen them in person by now (or will very soon!), but since I haven't shown them off here yet, please enjoy this look at the finished sticker sheets!
Despite their delays and hassles in production, I'm really happy with how the holographic sheets came out, and pleasantly surprised by how thick the vinyl is. I hope you guys enjoy these shiny Shroomie stickers too! They pair nicely with the Shroomie Sticker Book as well ;)
💙 Leftover Pins
If there are any pins or other items from this campaign you were eyeing but didn't quite get, never fear! All leftover stock from this project (including stickers, sticker books, etc.) will be going up on my ✦ Etsy Store ✦ soon. It's taking me some time to photograph everything and get listings up, but keep checking back! You can always follow my Etsy shop to get notified when new stock comes in too.

You may have already seen the teaser page by now, but now the announcement is OFFICIAL: I'll be back for Pintopia 3 in January 2025! 🎉 I'm so excited to illustrate even more new Shroomies (thanks to all your votes and feedback in the reward surveys). Plus, it's very likely there will be at least one mushroom plushie in this upcoming campaign, since the votes and demand were nearly tied with more Shroomie pins!

Woohoo!! All of the Shroomie Roomies enamel pins safely landed at my doorstep over the weekend, which means that pin production is officially complete! 🙌 Nearly every day my wonderful family and I have been working on counting, grading and carding all of the pins, and I'm happy to say we've made a pretty good dent so far—though there's definitely a ways to go still with over 3,000 total pins. 😅

Unfortunately, I am still waiting on the sticker sheets to arrive, since they got delayed a few times during production. I've been told that the factory is reprinting about 50 errored sheets, and that once those are done, they'll all ship to me. This means that any orders that include sticker sheets will be on standby until I get them in-hand. Thankfully, that shouldn't be too much longer now though.
Great news, Shroomie gang! A little more than half of all the pins just arrived at my doorstep, at let me tell ya, our tiny mushie friends look GREAT in person!! I've had a lot of close communication with my manufacturer nearly every day for the past few weeks, as we work on making the colors for each individual pin the best they can be. 💪🍄 A couple of pins have taken a number of revisions to get right, while others came out even better than I imagined right off the bat. Regardless, know that all 28 Shroomie pins are getting loads of attention and care during the production process, and are all going through my careful color-checking before they leave the factory. Check out these fresh close-ups of all the pins that have been delivered to me thus far:

Attention: now's your last chance to make any updates / changes to your shipping address! In 48 hours from now, they will automatically lock, and you won't be able to edit your address yourself anymore. Please take the extra minute to update it now if a change in shipping location is necessary. If the address you entered at the time of the reward survey is still good to go, then no action is needed on your part :) Yay!

Calling notice to 10 backers who currently have failed payments. It's absolutely necessary to correct these and make sure your payment goes through in order for me to be able to ship your rewards. This goes for the handful of people who still haven't completed their reward survey too. Think of all the orphaned lil Shroomies you'll leave unadopted if it doesn't get fixed ...

This will be another nice, short update: I bring you lots of new manufacturing pictures with this message! 🤩🙌 Please note: You may notice some off-looking colors on a number of these, but rest assured, I've already pointed them out to my factory rep, and they're revising and correcting all of the colors that I've called out. This will result in a bit of a delay, since it takes time for corrections to be made. But I've already made it clear that some of these screen print colors don't match the digital art / aren't visible, and that it's important for them to be corrected, rather than settle with some of these pins as-is.
Colors can be tricky to get right the first time, especially when there's so many different pin designs to make, so I expected this delay and knew it was a real possibility. But ultimately, I want all of you to get the best-looking pins possible and for all of us to be thrilled with our lil Shroomie friends! :) The factory should start shipping everything to me between the end of July and early August.
Now, without further ado ... please enjoy these work-in-progress and first draft pin pictures!!

Hi mushroom gang! Hope you've had a good past few weeks and are staying cool in this wretched summer heat. I've been looking forward to this particular update for a while, since this is when I finally get to share the first manufacturing pics that have come in! 💪🍄 I thought it'd be fun to show a few snippets of the sketch-to-pin process here too:
They're coming to life! These lil Shroomies are beginning their production process with machine-carved molds that get used to create batches of raw pins.
✏ Enamel Pin Art Process:
From here, the raw pins will get filled with color, stamped with screen print layers, and eventually, plated & polished! (Not shown: many meticulous revisions and color adjustments to the art in between the drawing phases. 😅)
More manu pics of the rest of the designs not yet shown are still coming to my inbox (don't worry, they're not forgotten)! I'll update you guys again as all the Shroomies continue to move through the manufacturing process :) Hope you enjoyed this short n' sweet production update!

Gosh, this was an insanely fun pin to make. I'm really thrilled that it won the vote ultimately, because there really is something adorable and special about having a linked train of little Shroomie friends, representing all of you guys who made this campaign, and the epic backer train possible. I designed it specifically with the backer train in mind, making all of the mushroom colors match BackerKit's colorful overtime mode box! 🤩

✨ Sticker Previews:
All of the individual holographic stickers are here!! You know ya girl LOVES shiny things, and I'm super pleased with the quality and shiny-ness of them. I tweaked the art a little bit (on the Mama Shroom and Baby Shroomie Trail stickers) from the initial digital previews that were shown during the live campaign, in order to make these stickers as legible and visually appealing as possible. Basically, instead of all the lines being holographic on these two designs, I opted to keep the colorful line art around the mushrooms, and just have the detailing be holographic, as well as the outer borders. I'm really glad I took the time to make these adjustments, since I feel now that there's a good balance of line art and holographic shiny-ness. Check them out!

Finally, I just want to say how much I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all your votes and write-in suggestions (in the survey) for my next project :) It was literally an even, neck-in-neck race between "more shroomie pins" and "tiny bottle scenery" pins until just recently when the scales finally tipped! Plushies have stayed very close behind throughout this poll as well, and most of the write-in suggestions were basically "all of the above" or "both shroomies and bottles". 😂👍
I'm honestly just super thrilled and touched that you incredibly wonderful group of people are down to see more from me in the future. I can tell you now, that I currently plan on indulging both of the top picks, and have some fun ideas to incorporate a mix of tiny bottle scenery pins and more Shroomie designs together for my next campaign! Depending on logistics, I may even be able to sneak a first plushie in there too 👀
For now though, things are still pretty open-ended, so feel free to throw your ideas at me in the comments below, especially if there are any new Shroomie concepts you'd like to see, or specific types of scenery for little bottle pins!
