Hey everybunny!

The plushes are currently in transit via sea freight, so there haven’t been too many updates via their location. However, I’ve been slowly but surely pulling add-ons for all my open orders. As soon as the plushes hit the port, I will be able to track them. 

I apologize that the updates have been a bit sporadic. The wire fraud incident has put me in a tricky position. I’ve tried to remain cordial with my manufacturer despite my displeasure, as I could not afford anything to further delay this project, or god forbid, for something to happen to the plush shipment. The shipping process was delayed multiple times, unfortunately, as well as the safety testing. When the plushes have been delivered, I’ll be able to share more explicit details regarding everything that happened.

I cannot thank y’all enough for your patience and support during the duration of this project. I have fulfilled many preorders and projects, and never have I faced such an unprecedented situation. I can only hope this project has not damaged my audience’s trust. Regardless of what happens moving forward, I’ll complete this project if it’s the last thing I do!

In the end, I was unfortunately not able to recover my funds. It took many months to negotiate with my manufacturer, and in the end, they only offered me a $2k discount out of the $12.8k that was lost. Thankfully, due to the kindness of many, I was able to gather some donations via GFM. However, trying to come up with an extra $5k in this economy has been… well… difficult. It feels like shoveling dirt into a bottomless hole. Disclaimer before I continue, I am not asking for extra funding or anything like that! I am only hoping that an explanation will provide further context. All I ask for is patience. 

Originally, I had intended to use a portion of the initial campaign funding to invest in a fulfillment company to quickly get these orders out. However, that is no longer a possibility. I have some friends who are willing to help me pack orders, but with over 1000 orders, it may take a while. I’m pretty quick at pulling orders, but I also need to tend to my other work in order to make up for the lost funds. 

As soon as the plushies hit port, I will send out an e-mail reminder to update and lock-in addresses. If you have only ordered the add-ons, like keychains or stickers, I am slowly packing my way through those to have them shipped out in advance.
