Project Update: Digital Book Early Access and a New Stretch Goal Challenge 🧶
Check out the new Goomigurumi Crochet Challenge, download the entire Crochet Goomis digital book early, and crochet along with me LIVE starting now! I've got a lot to update you on today, and all of it will help us unlock additional stretch goals too. I know there's a lot, let's start with the big news:
Ready to put your hook to the test?! It's time for the Goomigurumi Challenge!! To celebrate our new book Crochet Goomis, we’re launching the Goomigurumi Challenge, with new ways to unlock stretch goals and 3 Ways to Win Prizes!
The challenge? Crochet them all! (or at least as many as you can)! Submit images of your completed crocheted Goomis to enter. Every submission will be counted and we'll unlock stretch goals at certain intervals!
Next Goal: 50 Goomi Submissions = New pattern!
But that's not all, you can also win big in 3 different ways!
Random Lottery – We’ll give out a prize membership every week to one random submission!
Most Goomis – Crochet all the Goomis you can! There are 51 total. You can only submit once per Goomi. Whoever has the most Goomis will win a Signed Book (or equivalent gift card to use on a Club Crochet gift)!
Fan Favorite – We’ll vote together for our favorites at the end of the challenge! The winner will receive a Deluxe Crochet Kit (or equivalent gift card). May the most impressive Goomi win!
Show off your Goomi in its natural “habitat,” whether that’s a mossy rock, a coral reef, or your craft table. The more personality, the better!

To help you get hookin' on our new challenge I have great news! Our book, Crochet Goomis is releasing in stores next week! If your pledge tier includes a physical book, either through a purchase or add-on, you should have recieved an email from me earlier today with your download link! If you didn't, after checking spam, reach out to me directly at [email protected].
As a Backerkit Supporter you will have an option after the campaign is over (Sept 30th) to get early shipping for your book. You can also choose to include it with your full order to save on shipping costs, but it will be available to ship immediately if you don't want to wait for the games to be manufactured! But don't worry about that now, I'll keep you in the loop at the end of the campaign.
By the way, every Goomi entered in the challenge will add to a pattern punch card! Every 5 Goomis you submit pictures of will give you credits on the site to use on other patterns on the website too, so make sure to join the community to get bonus rewards. Your physical book will include a code that automatically unlocks every pattern from the book on the website for quick digital access, so you should save your credits for new designs if you're savvy.
We're turning a Goomi into a 90s kid today, but which Goomi and what century? That's up to you! Join live to vote on customizing today's Goomi into either a 1990s, 1890s, 0090s, or 3090s style! I have no idea what we'll make, but I guarantee it'll be fun!
