Backers are being charged right now. I am seeing a handful of failed charges. That always happens for various reasons. Be sure to login to Backerkit and check your pledge.
It usually takes about 2 weeks for all the charges and deposits to finish up.
I will send out surveys in late October. Surveys help me finalize the number of books I will order. My base funding was for 200 books but I may order more!

I've had a few people ask if I'll be offering Feather & Stone as an ebook. The answer is No. I know. We live in a digital age where everything is available on our tablets and phones. But Feather & Stone is a chapbook. That is a specific type of physical book. It's not meant to be seen through a screen. You are suppose to experience it with your senses, not be removed from it. Also, I'd rather it not be immediately scanned by AI. I say immediately because we know the chances are high it will be anyways. But this is something I can control for a short time and it will be better for your eyes and your heart.

I've added a brand new original drawing to the Add-on's section, it's a stone from my personal collection. Through Time is graphite on Stonehenge paper, matted to 5x5 inches. The drawing is available to current backers and new backers, but be quick!

I didn't realize till recently, many people are unaware that picking up a feather you find on a walk or in your yard is ILLEGAL. One of the key reasons why collecting feathers is prohibited in the United States is the Migratory Bird Treaty Act. Enacted in 1918, this federal law aims to conserve and protect migratory bird species, their nests, eggs, and feathers. It covers over 800 bird species, including some of the most iconic ones like eagles, hawks, and owls. The act prohibits the possession, sale, purchase, or even transfer of feathers without proper permits.
However there are a few that don't fall under this law. Can you guess which one in the poll below? 🪶

Drawing has always felt like poetry to me, even more so since I made the decision work in pencil. My earliest art memories are watching my mother draw with an everyday pencil. It felt like magic--a magic I wanted to learn. I went on to devote my life to making art and creating visions. You will never find AI in my creative process!
