Project Update: The Work Continues
The MedievAlien project is progressing steadily! We're now at an advanced stage of writing the corebook and have also started working on the translations.
In the meantime, we wanted to share a small excerpt with you:
“When the spacecraft crashed on Earth, the impact released a tremendous amount of energy, comparable to a planetary cataclysm. The heat was so intense that it instantly melted the ground, fusing terrestrial minerals with fragments of the alien vessel. From this union, an unknown metal was born: Sidereal Iron.
The explosion hurled the first fragments of this newly formed substance far beyond the crater, scattering clumps and shards across distant lands. Some were buried beneath the sands of the Sahara, while others became lodged in mountain fissures or concealed within hidden deposits.
The ancient peoples who discovered fragments or veins of Sidereal Iron believed the metal to be a gift from the gods. Each culture gave it a different name.
Over the centuries, only a handful of people came to suspect the truth: Sidereal Iron was directly connected to the creatures that had survived the crash. Their understanding remained incomplete, however, and what little they knew was jealously guarded by secret societies of hunters throughout the ages.
Once forged, the metal is dark and flecked with white, resembling a star-filled night sky. It is deadly against the Xeno, capable of piercing their hides and even their toughest scales. Yet it is not a universal weapon. Against human opponents, Sidereal Iron proves surprisingly brittle: a poorly aimed blow can dull its edge or even shatter the blade.”
Everything is on track, and we can't wait to show you more of what we've been working on.
Keep your blades sharp,
Ordo Sideralis
