Project Update: Update 1 - Funded!
We funded in 90 minutes! We hit the stretch goal in less than 24 hours!
WHAT?!
My heartfelt thanks goes out to you all for believing in this project. This game has consumed me for the past year and to see the response to that passion is incredible. Thanks, thanks, and more thanks!
1. Stretch Goal:
Your support means that the people who helped make this project a success are getting raises. They are a talented bunch and have certainly earned it.
2. Early Bird Reward:
Backers in the first 48 hours receive a digital supplement of additional manifestations to help corrupt characters in new and strange ways. If you haven't yet backed the project or know someone who would love it, now is the time to take action. Backing in the first 48 hours helps the project reach its maximum potential!
3. Projects to Highlight:
The Deepest Dark - We are cross-collabing with this game and I can't tell you how happy it makes me. I've read this game and it is dripping with character. From the black-and-white artwork, the excellent writing, and gameplay that creates fully-fleshed out characters, relationships, and ultimately tragic endings, The Deepest Dark wows. Plus, backers who support both this and Blightfall get a bonus class for Blightfall, The Palace, as well as a solo-mode for The Deepest Dark!
Vralkast - Jamie's got something special here in Vralkast. It's a system-neutral setting with amazing art by Michael Fiore, described as "a port carved into the cliffs of an underground ocean, glimmering beneath the light of a glow-worm galaxy ..." Jamie is a wizard with layout, the graphic design is stunning, and I'm currently debating what system I'm going to use to play in this world.
The Black Tower Hack - This game combines two awesome things, Stephen King's Dark Tower and The Black Sword Hack, to create something extra amazing! I'm deep in my OSR/NSR-era and I desperately want this game to come to fruition. They're getting close on their funding goal and your support could make the difference!
That's all for now. And in case I haven't made myself clear: thank you.
