Backer surveys will go out in the next week or so, please keep an eye on your inbox. You’ll be able to confirm your rewards, enter your shipping details, and even snag a few extra goodies.
And for anyone who missed the campaign (or wants to help us unlock more goodies), the Pre-Order Store is now open! You can browse all the unlocked merch and place an order until November 15th.
In the Backerkit surveys and pre-order store, two stretch goals have migrated to a purchase stretch goal:
Ten orders are needed to unlock the tote bag, featuring the bonus wallpaper art (as voted on by backers.)
mock-up for the tote bag, handle will have a star motif and the art may shift.
Twenty orders are needed to unlock holographic foil detailing for the zine cover. This will add foil to the cover for all physical books once unlocked.
What wonderful news to wake up to on this Wednesday morning, Between Stars & Shadows is funded!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥂🥂🥂🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much to everyone who has shared the campaign and pledged to support this zine anthology.
I do have stretch goals lined up, the first is unlocking a tote bag to carry all your Printopia goodies in, voting is open to decide what artwork will be featured on it.
Again, thank you all so much! Let's unlock an extra wallpaper digital reward for backers before the deadline is up, and please stay tuned as this project slides past the finish line tomorrow.
I'm so excited to announce the chibi Celestial Goddess Tea set has been unlocked! You can add the sticker or the keychain (or both!) to your pledge.
Included in the Celestial Tier and available as an add-on
We're in the last stretch of the campaign, only a couple days left, and we're so close to funded. Than you so much for your support in bringing these projects to life!
We are into the last week of the campaign and getting very close to funded! 🙌
Today, I'd like to share a Procreate timelapse of my art for the cross-collaboration bookmark available for backers who support both this campaign (on a physical reward tier), and A Year of Broken River Zines.
We paired up to create tarot themed bookmarks for cross-collab backers, and for my illustration concept I decided to go with the Strength card. I puzzled for a while on what I wanted to draw, but I felt my characters Momoko and Flere would work well, and it has been some time since I've drawn them.
Momoko is my main character from an in-progress sci-fi novel of mine, and Flere is an inter-dimensional beast that bonds with her. Momoko represents compassion and light, and Flere is a dark beast inwho holds the power of fire. When thinking about characters I could draw to represent the themes of not only the zine, but the Strength tarot card and Printopia sci-fi banner, these two really are perfect.
I am so excited for this foil bookmark to get made. 🥰
Strength Tarot-inspired Bookmark
✨ If you'd like to see the artwork turn into a real tarot sized card as a campaign add-on, check out the achievement goal at the bottom of this post. ✨
The full character art (minus the background/foil frame) will also be included in the running with other art from the zine as options to vote on for the tote bag when we reach that stretch goal.
To wrap up the week of previews/sneak peeks, I wanted to share the list of contributors who will be included in the print edition of the zine. All of the amazing contributors in this zine anthology are listed in the Story section of the campaign (including links to their social media or websites that they've shared); please check out the full list, along with more information on the campaign rewards, stretch goals, and Printopia event on the main page.
