The Hotspot series begins with Hotspot: Grenada, where VENOM has seized control of the island nation's main airfield, hoping to use it to launch assaults all across the Caribbean. The local government has requested aid, and Freedom Squadron answered the call. Whether you decide to sneak in under the cover of darkness or show VENOM tactical superiority in the form of a bombastic frontal assault is up to you!

What is Freedom Squadron?

Maybe you've stumbled upon this crowdfunding project, and you're curious what Freedom Squadron is all about! Freedom Squadron is a tabletop role-playing game (TTRPG) using the Savage Worlds system. Freedom Squadron offers high-octane military action, with new edges, specializations, gear, vehicles, and much more, all designed to take the Savage Worlds role-playing system to an all-new level. Commandos, cyber-ninjas, elite hackers, ace pilots, and even those who dabble in the occult... sound cool to you? Then check this game out!

Freedom Squadron is set a few years after a future World War 3 -- nations have banded together, borders have been rewritten, and the world is still trying to catch its breath after the devastation. But VENOM, an organization dedicated to subjugating all the free people of the world and destroying those who resist, still wants to keep fighting. The United Nations decided that traditional militaries aren't enough -- they needed the greatest team of heroes ever assembled. And so, Freedom Squadron was born!
