Before we get into the meaty stuff, I wanted to let everyone know that we heard requests from a bunch of people asking for an add-on for XP token chips. We decided that we'd just add this in as an upgrade to the current token sheet because it's such a good idea and we wish we'd thought of it sooner! No add-on required, just an upgrade to the sheet :) 

As the crowdfunding continues, we wanted to share a little bit about the artists working on this project. It is super important to us that everyone knows we are committed to using only human-made artwork, and zero AI. With that said, we'll be doing an artist series starting with our incredible Art Director, Shunsuke Nakashige. 

You might know Shunsuke Nakashige from his incredible work on Solo Leveling (2024), Solo Leveling: ReAwakening (2024) and Sword Art Online (2012). We have loved working with him and seeing his own deep artistic talent and passion for tabletop RPGs get infused into this release of Sword World. The following illustration is one of Shunsuke's pieces made for Sword World. We are so honored that he is working with us on this!

The crowdfunding campaign of Sword World began on October 20, and thanks to all of your support, I am very happy to hear that we have already surpassed our goal and the campaign is progressing so well. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to all of you.

We have several Sword World 2.5 products here, and I hope you will continue to look forward to what we have in store for you.

The first edition of Sword World, known as the original edition, was released in 1989. Thanks to the wonderful support of our fans, it became a great success in Japan.

The current crowdfunding campaign is for Sword World 2.5. It has been 18 years since Sword World 2.0 was released, and about eight years since the release of 2.5. Throughout this time, we have continued to receive such passionate support from our fans, and Sword World has earned a reputation as one of Japan's leading fantasy RPGs.

In return for this support, we continue to create many new works every year, including supplements, novels, and scenario collections.

If this crowdfunding campaign continues to achieve such great success, we would love to introduce even more of these works to all of you in the future.
