Project Update: Status Update: OSRIC World Shipping has Started, and VTT Progress
Spiral Galaxy is now shipping orders that don't contain landscape-oriented books (these are still in transit). We don't have any information on the order they're doing it in, but they usually get lots of packages shipped quickly. Please keep an eye open for any shipping notices in your email.
We have also shipped all but one of the Brazilian orders, for which we are missing the tax ID number. Please check your emails if you are in Brazil for shipping notifications (or for our request for the CFP number).
Progress on the VTT:
We have all the token art in hand and paid for.
Here I am quoting from EotB, who is doing the first phase of the VTT work:
Current status: Update the 2.2 Players Item content to all the mechanics additions since its last release in May 2025 - Done
Update the 2.2 GM Actors and Players Actors for same - Done
Update the 2.2 GM Items for same - Done
Update the 2.2 Classed Actors for same - Done (All of this above is the bulk of the total work)
----------------------------------------------------------
Do a quick zip through text to update any suggestions or work-arounds from 2 years ago no longer current - in process
Release final 2.2 to tide people over while 3.0 is integrated - likely early next week
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Create 3.0 journal entries and replace 2.2 text in content - to be done
Review updated 2.2 content for any changes to monsters, spells, etc., in 3.0 and incorporate - to be done
Review tables for any changed or new tables in OSRIC 3 to incorporate - to be done
Update any old token art with any new token art created from the KS - to be done
Upload data to Mike so he can do any V14 migrations necessary to 3.0 data to be released
EotB also adds: As far as starting an OSRIC campaign in Foundry, the difference in the VTT between using the fully updated 2.2 and the 3.0 content won't be much in play. The vast majority monsters, spells, magic items, classes, etc., are going to be unchanged at the VTT level. You won't have a monk in the 2.2, if that's a deal-breaker, and the journals/descriptions won't have the updated text (but it isn't as if 3.0 is a huge departure from 2.2). But in terms of playing the game, you'll be able to do that and expect nothing really breaks when 3.0 is released.
We have also shipped all but one of the Brazilian orders, for which we are missing the tax ID number. Please check your emails if you are in Brazil for shipping notifications (or for our request for the CFP number).

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Status Update: Non-USA orders
This is just to let the non-USA backers know that the books are still in transit to the UK warehouse. We thought that they would have arrived by now, but the ship apparently arrived 10 days later than scheduled. The books are still somewhere in the process of unloading/customs/driving to the warehouse. Once the books arrive, Spiral Galaxy (our fulfillment company in the UK) will send emails to backers to confirm addresses while they are packing boxes. Usually the books start shipping about 2 weeks after arriving at the warehouse. That should be soon (this week) but we don't know exactly when it will be. So the books should begin shipping to backers fairly soon, but it will still be at least 2 weeks, which is later than we had originally thought.
We will keep you posted!

Project Update: Minor Update: Status Report
This is a quick status-report update for the Mythmere Games OSRIC crowdfunding. Suzy and I are back from GaryCon, and we believe we have now answered all the correspondence we have received up to today. If you contacted us about damaged books or PDF links and we have NOT responded, this means we somehow didn't see the message you sent to us. The one exception is Garf, who emailed us about PDF links while I was typing the sentence above.
The only timeline update at the moment is that the landscape/oblong rulebooks shipped out from the printer yesterday, and are expected to arrive in our Texas warehouse tomorrow, April 2nd. This is a week earlier than we anticipated; they are ahead of schedule. Once the shipment is logged, the warehouse folks will start packaging and sending orders within the USA that contain landscape books.
For non-USA customers, this also means that non-USA landscape books will be palletized and sent to the shipping agent so they can be put on a ship to the UK. We will get that done as soon as possible.
Also for non-USA customers, all the REST of the materials (portrait books, GM screens, modules) are presumably already on route to the UK. I have sent an email to get this confirmed, but haven't heard back yet. This is normal, because Spiral Galaxy doesn't normally keep us informed on the step-by-step progress while a shipment is still in the hands of the shipping agents.
So, and I mention this only because I have seen the mistake made on Reddit: backers in non-USA countries will start receiving books some time in the 1-2 month timeframe (shipping from the USA by surface to the UK, then confirming emails and packaging, then shipping out). Some people mentioned they expected the books in a couple of weeks, which doesn't take into account the surface shipping to the UK.
Thank you for backing Mythmere Games!

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: Minor Update: Going to GaryCon
Suzy and I both look forward to seeing everyone who is coming to GaryCon this year! We will have a booth, so if you'd like to come and say hello, we will be in the vendor hall.
Since we'll be at the convention, we won't be reliably responding to online questions and messages for about a week.
Other status updates:
USA orders that don't contain landscape-oriented rulebooks will begin shipping on Monday. Not all of them will go out the door on Monday; it will take a few days before they are all in the mail.
We should be able to get the portrait-oriented rulebooks, the modules, and the GM screens on the first step of the way to the UK by Monday or Tuesday, depending on communication. All we're waiting for is a reference number for the pallets, then those can leave from our USA warehouse for the shipping agent's warehouse for transit. We will send the landscape-oriented rulebooks on a different ship as soon as we receive them. By doing it this way, we can fulfill as many orders as early as we can.
People are starting to receive the print on demand books they ordered through DriveThru via the crowdfunding -- if you are seeing pictures of a softcover OSRIC book online, that's what you're seeing. The offset printed books are hardcovers.
Thank you for supporting Mythmere Games!

PROJECT UPDATE
Project Update: "Heads up" Update: shipping will be charged this week (physical orders only)
Please disregard if you did not order physical products: this update is about shipping costs for physical books.
Shipping Charges will be charged later this week.
(1) The first step will be an email from BackerKit telling you how much you will be charged for shipping. We expect this email to go out tomorrow (March 11), but it is generated and checked by BackerKit, so the timing isn’t entirely up to us.
(2) The next step is that cards will be charged approximately 2 days after that email. We hope to start shipping certain USA orders by Monday (see last paragraph for more details).

Just a quick note, since shipping prices have been going up. We DO NOT try to profit from shipping; there are averages and estimates in here (as examples, we have to charge one price for the USA even though there are different shipping regions, and the add-ons are the same price regardless of country) but the prices are as accurate as we can be to our actual cost.
If you have any questions once you receive the email with your actual shipping charges, you may contact us at either Matt or Suzy at mythmeregames dot com.
The only books we don’t have in hand at the warehouse are the landscape-oriented rulebooks (which are still being printed), so in the USA we will begin sending orders that don’t contain these as soon as the shipping charges are received. Orders outside the USA need to be sent to the UK warehouse first, so those won’t start shipping to customers immediately.
