Project Update: Minor Content Update
Hey all, you may notice the PDF through DTRPG changed slightly - apart from adding some visual shifts (like more backgrounds to better frame art), we also replaced three pieces of art (pages 35, 52, and 66) with others that also fit the pages. We did this for two reasons -
- First, they weren't strictly in line with our usual JRPG-adjacent aesthetic, and though we liked the art, we felt it clashed somewhat with the rest of the anime/game-inspired vibe of our setting. So we replaced it with art from our recent Actual Play campaigns.
- Second, we have a mild suspicion that the artist who made them (who we won't name since we are not completely certain) may have used AI processes in their rendering. We vetted them before and were satisfied, but currently we want to re-vet them before continuing to work with them. So for now, we've removed their art so we can investigate without interrupting our print run.
We believe in transparency in these matters, so we wanted to let you know.
