If you liked Soul of Trickery, I invite you to back our next project, now live on BackerKit! The Depths of Charity is the same format of book, but with new gods, mechanics, items, subclasses, classes, NPCs, etc! It's already been funded, and you can get this 110-page book now, with the few limited early-bird slots remaining!
Supporting these projects helps Nat19 keep making more content for you to take home to your table, so check it out if you want to throw in with us~!
There's also an add-on only tier if you just want to pick up additional items!
Hey all, you may notice the PDF through DTRPG changed slightly - apart from adding some visual shifts (like more backgrounds to better frame art), we also replaced three pieces of art (pages 35, 52, and 66) with others that also fit the pages. We did this for two reasons -
First, they weren't strictly in line with our usual JRPG-adjacent aesthetic, and though we liked the art, we felt it clashed somewhat with the rest of the anime/game-inspired vibe of our setting. So we replaced it with art from our recent Actual Play campaigns.
Second, we have a mild suspicion that the artist who made them (who we won't name since we are not completely certain) may have used AI processes in their rendering. We vetted them before and were satisfied, but currently we want to re-vet them before continuing to work with them. So for now, we've removed their art so we can investigate without interrupting our print run.
We believe in transparency in these matters, so we wanted to let you know.
We hope that everyone has been enjoying the content from the Soul of Trickery and Paraprismatic Tempest! We're gearing up for our next campaign starting on October 1st (we sent out emails about it earlier today) but I wanted to check in to let everyone know how physical fulfillment is going:
Hardcover Books & Physical Media
We've placed orders for most of the physical items that will be fulfilled for this project, as well as most of the book orders! However, since we can't print the Soul of Trickery hardcovers until we have all of the VIP credits sorted out, we're waiting on the Pay-Over-Time backers to complete their payments (or be declined and fail to respond to follow-ups), then we'll be able to push the last of our orders and go straight to fulfillment. We'll use the time until then to make small QoL tweaks and corrections to the material, and to focus on making the Depths of Charity project as good as it can be (link below for those who haven't followed that yet!).
Please note that we'll charge shipping once we're close to finishing our print runs, and we want to assure backers that, no matter how tumultuous the tariff situation in North America gets, we won't charge tariffs on this project.
Prismatic Soul OST
We have one more soundtrack to complete with our composer for Performance Check, then once that's done we'll be outlining and getting to work on the Prismatic Soul OST! This one might be one of the last things completed in this project, but since it's a digital asset it won't slow down anything else!
Pre-Order Store
As a quick reminder, you can still make additional purchases from the project through its pre-order store, found below:
Hey everyone! While we're still arranging our physical orders for this project (and waiting for pay-over-time backers to pay out!) we're getting ready for our Q3 book for 2026, the Depths of Charity!
Right now, if you head to the Depths of Charity pre-launch page and follow the project, you can get a free 30-page preview book of what's coming in it! Click the link below to be taken there. That project launches on October 1st, so be ready!
