I hope you had a lovely Halloween, last weekend. I visited my hometown, a historical village with lots of alleyways, that hosted this haunted walking tour with creepy "haunted hayrides" (but then Dutch), and it was super spooky and nice! As a result, I didn't notice that the Yokai Ghost Parade suddenly got a big burst! We are now getting really close to the Halloween enamel pin color variants :D
Since we have come into the last week of the campaign, that means I will be working on some stretch goals: the bookmark and the tarot-like cards will be getting a proper design soon. I will also be completing the production specs and contacting my manufacturer to get production rolling, if only preparing the molds until the survey later shows a better estimate of how many pins are needed of each design. And expect the preorder store to also pop up pretty fast after the campaign ends <3

Yes, the picture definitely shows four mini lanyards, that wasn't a mistake. I just added another design to the add-ons :D It's a design I've had a bit longer already, but it suits the creepy theme well enough.
Blue Oni?
Let's end this update with a poll! The first alternative pin colors, which are now unlocked, feature the red oni design as their blue counterpart instead. I am thinking about adding a blue oni to the phone charms, too.
Should I include a blue oni phone charm in the set (the set price would remain the same, so you get more charms for the same price), make it a separate item (so you can get it 100% without having to gamble), or should I keep the phone charms as they are right now without a blue oni?

The clock has switched to Daylight Savings Time, it's dark extra early, and I am back at work post-MCM London Comic Con <3 So here is a proper update on how things are going!
Skull Taiyaki alts
To celebrate unlocking all the enamel pins, I have created two skull taiyaki alternative colors. These will have UV printing and have been designed to match the color alternative sets (of which the Halloween colors set is not yet unlocked, but you're getting the chance to grab the skull taiyaki in those colors anyway ;) ).

Speaking of stretch goals: here is what we have unlocked (aside from the full enamel pin set) so far!
That's quite a lot already!
It also means I have to get started on some new designs, such as the bookmark and the tarot-like cards <3 I will be picking these up as soon as time allows it, in-between some final prep for my last two conventions of the year (Kaidan and Heroes Dutch Comic Con). Of course, as soon as there is something to share, you will see it first!

Since we have reached the midway point of the campaign, things have settled down a little. Still, there's a big gap between the €7.000 and €8.000, so feel free to share what you'd love to see at €7.500! A new add-on, a new freebie, or maybe even an all-new pin? Do share your favorite yokai <3
Interested only in the add-ons?
Some of you have expressed interest in getting the add-ons, rather than the campaign's enamel pins. There isn't really a way to do that while the campaign is live, but I am adding a preorder store after the campaign ends! In this store, you will be able to get add-ons without needing to back a pin. Keep an eye out on the updates; I will let you guys know when the time is there.

The enamel pin set has been fully unlocked! That means that all pins will now be available to select in the survey after the campaign ends ♥️ I'm so happy we made it!

As I'm writing, it's seven in the morning in London, a few hours before me and my friends start setting up our booth for MCM London Comic Con.
As such, this update is wholly written in my phone (apologies for missed typoes) and without visuals. But I did want to take the time, because we are almost at unlocking the full set! ♥️ I really want to do something extra to celebrate the moment we get there, like adding new phone charm designs that will be limited editions for only this campaign, or making an alternative colorway for the skull taiyaki pin.
The moment will probably come before I've made up my mind, so I'll let you decide! Which of the two do you prefer?
Goodness, thank you so much! The Yokai Ghost Parade has already been fully funded!
That means we have unlocked the first two yokai of the parade:
I wasn't able to check in with the project much for the first hour, and then there was that email at 20:09 that the project got fully funded. So it was literally a little over an hour! I'm incredibly happy and we're all buzzing over in the Pintober discord about how it's going for everyone <3 Some of you guys even got the full big-boy Seven Little Yokai! And Appel (my collab partner) was funded, too!
I see some familiar faces in the backer list, thank you so much to every one of you. Cthulhu and Bret, your names often pop up, don't they <3 And a shoutout to T. Stephens, who officially has the biggest pledge! I can't properly see who officially pushed Yokai Ghost Parade into funded, but I appreciate you so much <3 feel free to shoot me a message if that was you!
So what is next? Well, Yuki Onna and the Red Oni are now happening for sure. Next, we're onto stretch goals and making sure the rest of the set becomes unlocked <3 Meanwhile, I'll try not to spam you too much (my own inbox certainly exploded with all the this-project-you-follow-went-live notifications just now haha), but stay tuned: I'll update the graphics whenever a new tier is unlocked, and I'll do my best to keep you gently updated.
