We had an issue with item weights not getting properly set on the Proud To The Bone 2 pins - and so if you answered your survey before 4P ET/1P PT, you probably weren't charged the right postage amount. Some of you weren't charged at all, which obviously isn't tenable for us as a project. Likewise, the add-on price for the PTTB2 pins was off by a dollar bc I typo'd them. x.x

Thanks to the quick and lovely help I got from Lafia at BackerKit, this has been fixed & everyone who this affects should have gotten a message from her. Please check your survey and make sure you don't have funds owing for shipping so that we can get your rewards to you.

If you have not yet filled out your survey, you're good to go and should have no issues.

And lastly, thank you to the multiple backers who reached out to let us know about the shipping costs and item costs issues. I appreciate you very much!

Hold on, folks, apparently the shipping didn't correctly apply to the pins from the actual campaign, and it wasn't caught when the project was reviewed. We will be seriously in the red if it isn't charging you for shipping, as in, I may have to just refund the whole project and cancel it, so please hang on.

If you missed the crowdfunding campaign, this is your last chance to get in at crowdfunding prices, including pins from past campaigns at a discount from retail. ;)

Okay y'all! I just finished the Dire Wolf & will be submitting the project for approval within the next 48 hours. Once that happens, it'll take about 2-4 business days for BackerKit to review it and make sure we're totally good to go.

After that, I'll send out the smoke test, and once that goes out successfully, we'll send out surveys.

If everything goes as planned, that should mean we'll be sending out surveys to everybody by -- at the latest -- the 13th or 14th of May. If anything happens to delay that, I'll be sure to let you know. :)

Backer surveys are almost ready - keep your eyes on your inbox!

After a lot of thought and consideration, we decided to stick with the Dire Wolf pin for this round - it just seems like the fairest thing to do. Spider plans to hunker down with the design later this week, to make sure that it's distinct enough from our Wolf pin from PTTB1. Expect to hear more about this in 3-5 days!

Currently, Spider's working on the Irish Elk pin - the base art is complete, and now he's onto the crowns. They gave me an estimate of 2ish days on this one.

The art for our archaeopteryx pin is totally DONE-ZO and will be included in our next update

Bummed about the ankylosaurus? Me too, but we've got one more trick up our sleeve. We can set up the ankylosaurus as an add-on stretch goal, but we need a minimum of ten pins sold to cover the cost of making an additional pin design. Comment below to let us know if you're interested!

Lastly, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of your support, feedback, patience, and kindness! This is the first time we've developed new add-ons in the middle of a project, and (as usual) y'all have been overwhelmingly wonderful.

Hey y'all -- a quick update with the images of the finished Irish Elk & Archaeopteryx pins! I am still working on the Dire Wolf pins, and once I get them done (probably Mondayish) I will be submitting the survey/pledge manager setup to BackerKit for review. :)

Hey y'all!

I'll have a more detailed update in a couple of days -- I've been giving it a minute since I'm sure everyone involved in Pintopia has been getting tons and tons of emails -- but I do have an important question.

I've been working on the Dire Wolf pin, but the more I work on it, the more it just feels like Wolf, Part Deux, rather than being a distinct pin. There's a big visual difference between the Sabertooth and the Tiger from PTTB 1, for example, but the Dire Wolf is ... not really visually distinct from the Wolf, and the next option down was the Ankylosaurus, which promises to be much more visually distinct and cool.

So I've added a poll to gauge interest in switching things up with that in mind. If you're super set on the Dire Wolf, please say so -- if the vote comes down heavily in favor of the Ankylosaurus and you're super set on that, we'll work something out, whether that's letting you pick up the original Wolf as a reward or some other option.

This poll will be open until noon PST on Wednesday, so please make your voice heard. <3

A very quick update: with 18h to go, we're at $83 to the Irish Elk skull! If you've been thinking about adding pins or stickers or if you've been holding off on pledging, now's the time. 💗

I just finished all 14 of the colorways for the Archaeopteryx & y'all are keeping me WORKING, since we're only $26 (as of this moment) away from unlocking the Dire Wolf.

I know it's a big stretch, but I'm really hoping that we can get to the Irish Elk, because I would LOVE to work on that pin.

Without further ado, the Archaeopteryx, so I can go get some sleep. x.x

First and foremost, our production samples are on their way to us from our manufacturer, and they look really, really awesome. :D If you've been waiting to add on pins or to back until you saw the pins... wait no more! Time's running out!

I don't have these in my hands just yet, obviously, but I do have the picture that our manufacturer sent to me before popping the production samples in the mail, and eeeee! I am really happy with the way the details on these came out.

The flags pictured above are Progress for the Sabertooth and Cave Bear, Gay Men's pride (sometimes called the MLM flag) for the Mammoth, a trans Parasaurolophus, non-binary T-Rex (I couldn't resist using that flag for our sample given that Sue the T-Rex uses they/them pronouns) and a Biceratops. No, wait. Bi... tri... ceratops. There we go.

Just a reminder, if we get to $2600, the Archaeopteryx will immediately unlock in all of the available flags for this project, with Dire Wolf at $2900 and Irish Elk at $3200. Please make me stare at pictures of skulls for lots more hours. I would really, really love to get all three of these lovelies funded. I love how the Archaeopteryx looks like he's giving you a cheeky little grin, like he's just told you a terrible dad joke or pun that he knows is going to make you groan.
