Backers are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with their packages. We do not collect or remit VAT or any other taxes; these are the responsibility of backers. We will correctly mark all packages as merchandise with an accurately declared pledge value. We will correctly ignore any requests to mark packages as "gifts" or with a lower declared value than the pledge amount. Domestic Shipping We ship all domestic packages via tracked USPS Ground Advantage (formerly First Class Packages). You will receive a tracking number and packages normally arrive within 4-8 business days after you receive the tracking number. You may see packages appear not to move for a day or two after the number is generated; this is because it takes us time to pack all backer rewards and get them to the post office, and then from there it may take a day or so for the packages to be scanned and begin to move. NerdyKeppie is not responsible for packages marked 'delivered' by carriers. Provision of a secure shipping address is the responsibility of backers: we cannot replace packages stolen by "porch pirates" or lost to other mishaps after they are marked delivered by carriers. International Shipping Packages take anywhere from 2-8 weeks for delivery. In many cases, tracking ceases when the package leaves the US, but some countries may provide enhanced tracking. All packages are shipped via USPS International First Class Package service. NerdyKeppie is not responsible for packages marked 'delivered' by carriers. Provision of a secure shipping address is the responsibility of backers: we cannot replace packages stolen by "porch pirates" or lost to other mishaps after they are marked delivered by carriers. Please note, due to COVID-19 restrictions, NerdyKeppie cannot ship to all countries. Please check to see if shipping services in your country are suspended before pledging by checking the USPS's list of International Mail Service Suspensions. Due to lack of complete shipping insurance, high rates of package loss, and/or mail embargos, NerdyKeppie is unable to ship to Israel, Russia or Commonwealth of Independent States countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan). Pledges with shipping addresses in these countries will be refunded and you will receive no rewards. NerdyKeppie uses no algorithmically-created images (commonly and erroneously called "AI") images or text in any of our work, now or ever.

BackerKit Crowdfunding is an all-or-nothing collaborative funding platform. Creators share their project ideas and set a funding goal with a deadline. Backers pledge money to help make the project possible.

If the project meets its goal by the deadline, pledges are charged and the creator moves forward. If it doesn’t, no one is charged.

Pledging in crowdfunding is a commitment to support the creation of a new product or project. Unlike a traditional purchase, you're not buying an item that already exists. Instead, your contribution helps bring a creative idea to life, and in return, you typically receive rewards (such as the product itself) as a thank you for your early support.

• You are charged only if the campaign meets its funding goal.
• Charges happen when the campaign ends, not when you pledge.

After the campaign ends, you'll receive a survey to pay for any applicable shipping fees, calculated based on your shipping address.

Pay Over Time allows you to split your pledge into multiple payments over a set period. Your card will be charged according to the payment schedule (four monthly payments). Only available for projects that enable this feature. Learn More »

Only the project creator and the BackerKit Support Team can see your pledge and contact information. Other backers and the public cannot see your individual pledge amount or personal details.

You can change or adjust your pledge level and add-ons before the campaign ends. After the project concludes, cancellations or changes are at the creator's discretion and may depend on what stage the project is in.

Overtime Mode extends your campaign past its original end time to give backers a final chance to make their pledge. It will add an additional 10 minutes past the end time as long as pledges keep coming in. The campaign will end when there is a 10-minute period without any new pledges.
