Dear Villagers, and especially the most patient of you-- our friends on the other side of the pond.
The pallet headed to the United States is off!
The estimated delivery date is July 3, but in light of our previous experiences with tariffs and bureaucracy, it will likely take a tad more for it to get to the Indie Press Revolution warehouse in Nevada. We hope that backers will start receiving their packages in the second half of July.
We apologize for taking longer than expected, but we investigated a few different solutions before resigning ourselves to the fact that with everything going around in the world, a shipment that is almost exactly the same as the one we sent out in January costs basically twice as much now.
It's part of the risks of crowdfunding, and we accept our share of it, just as you did with yours by backing. What we can hope for is that you'll appreciate our work and want to keep supporting our next project.
You will learn more about it soon... Unless the secret pool shows up in your dreams beforehand.
Our friends from the United States will need to wait a little more, but we're happy to announce that all shipments handled directly by us to Italy, Europe and the rest of the world have been sent off as of this morning.
For the ETA, we'll report what the Italian Post has told us:
Italy: 5-6 business days, via Piego di Libri Raccomandato.
Europe: 8-10 business days via untracked shipping.
North America & Oceania: 16 business days via untracked shipping.
Rest of world: 22 business days via untracked shipping.
We will now focus on preparing the copies for a shipment to Indie Press Revolution, who will handle US fulfillment.

We've received the printed boxes and sheets, in Italian and English,to complement the pins and postcards.

What's the plan now?
We'll ship out Italian copies first, then go ahead with Europe and the rest of the world. Our goal is to handle everything before Play Bologna, so by May 21.
For US copies, we're coordinating with Indie Press Revolution, who will handle domestic delivery. We'll update you as soon as possible.
Thank you again to all neighbors of Barbabianca, for your support and your patience. As you can see, assembling the boxes requires some handiwork and there's only three of us (or two more often than not, as we have a wonderful three-year-old to take up our attention!). Still, we'll do our best to stick by the deadlines we set.
It was especially crucial to us to make sure everything is in place with Barbabianca before launching our next campaign. Tomorrow we'll be launching The Roots of Soledad, the magical realism rpg we're working on with Matthijs Holter. Are you ready to witness the mysteries that lie beneath the black kapok tree?
